Disappointing Experience with GE Washer-Dryer Comb

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a GE washer-dryer combo less than a year ago, and it has been nothing but trouble. From the start, I've had multiple issues, including a leaking lint filter and loud banging and grinding noises during wash cycles. It fails to drain properly, leaving my clothes soaking wet, and often leaves residue on them after washing. To make matters worse, when I called GE support for help, the technician confessed not to know how to repair it. On top of that, my repair appointment was changed without my knowledge, forcing me to take two days off work to be present for the repair. This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. I expected better from a brand like GE. I definitely do not recommend this product!

Lint filter/fabric. Despite cleaning this filter every other day, as well as other maintenance, as well as replacing with new filter, getting the extended after market drying cleaning brush, this combo washer/dryer is only good for light duty. We are a couple with 6 dogs, and this device has failed us. There are a number of "work arounds" for this flaw, as well as several others by searching Youtube, etc., but annoying that you will need to call a service person to fix or learn how to pull this product apart yourself.

So right now not having the best review right now till i can get it repaired.

I have already had it serviced once for the pump being covered in hair. Now the dryer part in inop and lint is literally every inside of the machine. Lint trap as cleaned and maintained after every use. I feel like this could be a fire hazard! So now here are and I gotta wait for service again! You’re paying $2800 for a boulder that remember a washing machine! STAY AWAY FROM THIS!!!!! I really wish there was a way I could get my money back or even exchange for something that works properly.
