    Can’t recommend because no dryer temp control!

    Great concept and love the convenience- no more forgetting to switch the load into the dryer and having to rewash. But the insurmountable issue is that YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE DRYER TEMPERATURE AT ALL! Have delicate items? Active wear? Anything else that requires “tumble dry low”? You are out of luck. The dryer dries at 160 degrees regardless of cycle chosen. You cannot adjust the temp. You can choose a Delicate or Activewear cycle but that adjusts only water temp and spin velocity. So if you ever dry things at different temps this is not for you.

Unlike other drying systems, your UltraFast Combo uses a new way of drying clothes where changing or adjusting drying temperatures is not needed, regardless of the type of clothing. Your Combo dries all your clothes using our patented Ventless Heat Pump Technology. This new technology helps prevent over-drying and provides optimal care of all your laundry during your dry cycle by incorporating multiple temperature and humidity sensors, lower temperatures, and high air-flow. The high air-flow is the main component of this technology, allowing the drying process to be gentler on all your clothes. The 160° temperature is the air outlet from the compressor/fan, not the temperature of the actual clothing.     Washer is fine customer services is HORRIBLE

    I have spent over 2 hours now attempting to obtain a promotional gift card that was included with my purchase and I still have no resolution. I have called multiple times, I was told I would receive a physical copy to replace the digital copy that did not work however when I Called back two weeks later I was told that was an error. I have been transferred 6+ times and called 5 different numbers. I still have no resolution.

    Randomly decides to dump bleach and ruins clothes

    13 months after purchase, this nearly $3,000 unit is dumping bleach and ruining clothes. Not covered by warranty. I would recommend that you hold off on buying this until GE gets this new model fully baked.

    GE washer/dryer all in one

    Worst product ever produced for a washer and dryer. Clothes never dry fully, does not wash well either. I tried to return it and exchange. Called Best Buy for pick up return they give me the run around and didn’t call me back. Called them back and then they say I’m 4 days past return date even though I called 2 weeks prior for pick up and return. Terrible customer service.

      Oh no! This is not the experience we want for you. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to make sure the Combo is connected to your WiFi using our SmartHQ app. An over-the-air update may be just what you need to optimize the wash and dry performance of the unit. GE_Appliances

    First load that we tried to run and the unit leaked from the front door as well as the bottom. Very disappointed as we never had a chance to test the washing and drying cycle.

    Not what I expexted.

    The functionality is great but unfortunately, I had to return it while con for me is that when the dryer feature comes on there was a gas smell seeping from the dyer. When in use the dryer released a smell that was really bad I don't know if that was a mechanical malfunction but I didn't feel comfortable with keeping it. in the future, I will shop around for another one but for now, I'll stick with my GE washing machine.

    Broke within warranty period. Called ge. No one would service in the area no further help from ge. $1000 estimate for repair. Terrible customer service

    Don't Buy from Best Buy

    At some point Best Buy decided to take away the rewards earned for shopping there and forced you to get a best buy credit card to earn points. I did not know that when purchasing this very expensive washer/dryer combo. I wish I had because I would have just ordered from someone else and saved more money. I thought I was getting points back... I was wrong.

      Yes, it does dry your clothes. When the cycle is complete, certain items and the air inside may feel slightly humid due to the air-tight seal. This is to be expected! Simply remove the items giving them a quick shake and they will feel dry in seconds. The lint filter doesn't require a lot of maintenance. We recommend cleaning it after every 5 drying cycles.     Annoying Buzzing When Drying

    The unit is making a loud buzzing sound while drying. We stop the drying process then restart it, buzzing sound goes away for a moment but comes back. Will return it. Don't recommend this GE washer/dryer combo. Maybe we'll try the Samsung washer/dryer combo.

    Best Buys policies are a failure

    this review is for best buy. I purchased 2 of these only to have the price drop by $400ea the next day, and ($600 each at cost co) best buy will only price match 1 unit, not both to their price reduction due to a price match policy of 1 per item.I asked them to price match their price they refused asking me to return and rebuy the items

    the dryer in the combo machine is useless even with a light load, the regular dryer are better by far

      Hello - To help prevent over-drying, your GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo uses sensors, lower temperatures, and high air-flow to achieve optimal care of your laundry during your dry cycle. At the end of the cycle, certain items and the air inside may feel slightly humid due to the air-tight seal. This is to be expected! Simply remove the items giving them a quick shake and they will feel dry in seconds. If your clothes still need a little extra drying, try the “More Dry” option to add more drying time.     Great machine for 1 or 2 people. I have a family and this machine is not holing up, we have had maintenance on it a few times in less than a year

    We’ve had several issues with the drying vent. We’ve had to have a technician from the manufacturer come out and replace heating element. I recommend staying far away from this product.

    We have had this machine less than a year it has been awful , clothes are never dry. We have done all the recommend cleaning.

      If you have not already done so, we encourage you to connect the Combo to your WiFi and our SmartHQ app. Doing so, will provide us the chance to provide over-the-air updates which may not only improve dry performance, but it may also allow for the addition of great new features. If your concerns are not remedied by the update, we recommend calling GE Appliances Service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment to have the unit properly diagnosed and repaired by one of our highly trained service technicians.     This washer dryer combo is great. However the false advertising saying that it is compatible with Google Home when in fact several people have expressed the same issue that it does not work or connect to Google Home is very frustrating. I would have gotten another unit that is compatible had I known this.

    Drying needs improvement

    Had hopes of a great wash/dryer combo but this one will let you down. Does not dry well! Cloths are more than feeling damp, they are wet. Wife hated it.

      We certainly don't want you to continue having wet clothes from your Combo. While it is normal for clothes to have a slight damp feeling, they should not be excessively wet. We do recommend that you ensure the pump filter is clean, the load is balanced, that you're not overloading it, and that none of the hoses are kinked. If this does not resolve the matter, please take advantage of your warranty by calling 833-426-3393. Our great technicians are always happy to help! GE_Appliances
