As I appreciate what was tried to accomplish, I feel as though it just didn't quite work. The drying seemed to be the largest issue for us. We were sold a pedestal to begin with and it. The very first load we put very little clothes in just to see how much water and soap gets used but the machine shook so much it was scary!! After separating the machines, the issue turned to drying. Towels would spin and stick to the machine. Some would cold down but not all of them so I would have to run a rinse and dry cycle or just wash with next load out of frustration. I would Clean out the lint everytime out of habit but I noticed lots of loads I had on extra dry or I just set out to dry a little longer. I printed the manual and noticed the pet hair option but was sad to see we didn't have it. We did get it after the 40 the washes and we decided to turn it in. lol. That would not have been a game changer but that was a perk that we were interested in when researching at the beginning. The extras was also my complaint. If I forgot to carry my phone in the room (a person with disability) and I wanted a different option on the downloads, I was out of luck.

What's there to say that hasn't been already said about this amazing product. I love that I can toss in a load of clothes and it tells me when its going to be done. Having a vent less dryer is a major plus no fire hazards to worry about. I like this design as you can see every option clearly on the front. or you can control it with your phone. As note with others its a great idea to get the podium with this combo. I would of liked to have gotten the storage podium with this however seems like there is not a compatible one yet.

A great laundy machine. Washes and dries in half the time of our old combo. The built in detergent and fabric softener make it easy - just toss in a load, select a cycle, and press start. Cycle time varies depending on load size, but an average load for us generally takes about 2 hours. Great when you have two kids that generate a ton of laundy.

My husband really encouraged us trying this since we have had trouble with so much lint in our laundry room and this is ventless as well as would wonly need one appliance in laundry room now. Ioriginally was NOT on board,however now I’m in love. This is a total game changer for all us bist moms with tons of things on our to do lists. Literally set it and forget it! We’ve had it for a few wills now and highly recommend.

Wish I had never bought this, wish I would have read the bad reviews, I thought ours would be different. Within the year of having it we have had a tech come out to fix something two times, and now it's currently not working and our warranty is expired for general things, these have been our issues- 1. lint passes the lint "trap" (a sad excuse for a lint trap) and goes into the blue things to the right of the trap (the heating coils? idk). Bought a shop vac attachment to clean it, and it's a PAIN. It's so skinny that like nothing fits in there and it's nearly impossible to control the shop vac attachment to move it to where you want. 2. Currently there has been NO LINT on our lint trap. What does this mean? That the lint is stuck in that shoot that is supposed to push the lint up into the lint trap. So we aren't using it currently. 3. There is SO MUCH MAINTENANCE to keep this stupid contraption functional. If you want to try to fix it yourself, good luck. 4. Lint/dog fur gets stuck around the blue seal in the drum constantly, and I feel like I need to pull it off and I BET there's pounds of fur/hair/lint stuck under that. DO. NOT. BUY. Please, save yourself the money, this machine is horribly made.

The item was ok. Too much maintenance and care to keep from having a mildew smell. Dry time takes forever and still have to restart it. Used item . Returned due to smell

this appliance is well thought out and design. it requires no venting for drying and operates using a standard household electrical outlet. this means you can place it in your home without much upgrade. it autofeeds detergent and softener from its internal reservoirs, and lint cleaning is easily accessed. you can still use pods and dryers sheets, if you prefer. you can load it, set it, then walk away. the app will notify you when the wash cycle is complete and when the load is ready. the complete cycle is longer than my previous combined washer and dryer, but it is likely using less water and energy. having one appliance saves a lot of space which is a big deal for me. having the riser attached is a nice addition.

It’s only convenient if it actually works. We have had it for only a few months and we keep getting error codes about the pump compressor overheating. I keep having to remove lint from the pump (something one should only have to do occasionally), and it’s impossible to properly clean the opening for the lint screen - it’s too narrow and deep. It often smells horrible and musty… nothing really feels like it’s ever clean and it is even harder to get anything truly dry. Do not recommend.

If you are single or don't have children or pets this combo may work for you. We're a family of 4 with 3 fur babies and this washer/dryer cannot keep up. Loads have to be much smaller than a typical top-loading machine. When we first purchased in November 2023 cycles would typically take 2-2.5 hours. Now we're at 3-4 hours with repeatedly having to dry. Clothes come out incredibly wrinkly-I've never used my iron so much. I clean the lint trap after every use and had it serviced recently due to a pet hair clog. The maintenance person updated the software to include a pet hair cycle, which has made things worse. Everything comes out covered in pet hair and drying is taking forever. Our water bill is crazy because of having to rewash items constantly. I really wanted to love this appliance but my family doesn't understand how to use it and I'm sick of fussing over it. I actually enjoy doing laundry but this unit has made it miserable....for $2500!!

I was very skeptical about buying this combo, however, I looked into it and had 2 people I know also say they had one. I've had it for a couple of weeks now & I just love it. The ease of use & the fact that you don't have to add detergent or softener for every load. You fill the tanks & it takes care of itself. It's truly a One & Done is the Best. I'm glad I took the risk.

A bit early to give a full review since it was just installed and we don't know if we will be doing the WIFI yet. The installer finished the hook up quickly and efficiently, but since this model is relatively new to the market he was unsure of full operation. He did run it through a basic operation to check for leaks. We read the instruction manual to learn basic operation but we ran into a minor issue with the display. We were trying to figure out how to change settings and discovered by calling the consumer hotline that the unit comes with a sticker over the display. NOWHERE does it state to remove that circular sticker before use. Not on the sticker, in the owners manual(that we saw), or mentioned by the installer. GE should print "REMOVE BEFORE USE" right on the sticker. The consumer hotline rep did say that there were several inquiries regarding this. We did a king comforter as a first test which lasted about 3 hours and came out warm and dry. After that we cleaned the upper filter and emptied the lower condensate drain per instructions. After that wash/dry we left the door slightly open for a while per salesperson advise. We are happy with it and still learning its features.

I love not having to switch over my laundry. It does come out a little damp if you put in too big of a load of laundry, otherwise everything else about it is great.

Love it! Space saving. Does take extra drying but well worth it

I don’t like the smell of the clothes once washed and dried. It takes longer to do multiple loads of laundry. Overall not pleased

An amazing piece of technology! Everyone in our house noticed how clean clothes leave this machine. It is simple to use and super economical to run. The price tag is painful and it weighs around 300 lbs, it is not yet affordable for everyone but I'm hopeful that this technology will eventually replace less efficient machines and become more affordable for everyone to enjoy.

Love having both combined. Easier to do laundry. Would never go back to having two units. Mote room in laundry room. Fits king comforter.

I like the machine very much I don’t have to go up and dawn putting the wash in the dryer sometimes I feel it needs more time for drying I shake everything real well and it feels dry I like how you can fill the machine with soap and softener and the machine takes what it needs for the load it will tell you when the soap is almost gone It’s a amazing machine

Absolutely amazing so easy and customizable! Very easy to maintain! I’ve had mine for 2 years!
