    Unless you are single without children, this combo is awful. It is constantly clogged and requires manual unclogging.

    Smokey Machine

    When delivered, technician set up; he then turned it on and left. Almost immediately, it started smoking bad - smoke detectors went off! My wife turned it off and unplugged it as it really scared her. Bad smell was in the house all day. Went back to Best Buy and bought another washer & dryer to replace that one. It was never used to review below.

    Worst experience ever! Purchased in July 2023, GE already replaced the unit last March and we still have problems with the new unit. Best Buy won’t help, and GE can’t get to us for a week to look for repairs. Horrible machine and horrible service all around. Hoping GE will eventually give us credit to purchase standalone washer dryer unit. Stay away from GE and stay away from Best Buy

    Really dissatisfied. Struggling to dry anything. Geek squad came out and had no clue how to resolve my problem. Overpriced

      Hi there, thanks for reaching out. So sorry to hear about the drying issues you're having. We did want to say that your clothing may feel a little damp after a cycle, this is normal. After a few shakes, the clothes will feel dry. If you're experiencing really long dry times, we'd recommend checking to make sure your software is updated.     Wife wrestled with this thing for a month before I sent it back, clothes smelled like chemical, wouldn’t dry enough… if your a single dude, this is a god send.

      Hello. We designed our Combo with Dynamic Balancing Technology to enable real-time balancing of the spin cycle during each load, which means an overall reduction in both noise and vibration. We wouldn’t normally expect an issue with excessive noise, and we would recommend making sure the unit is level and periodically connecting to the app to receive any updates; these steps would also help to ensure a quiet experience.     A medium size load of towels ran for 4 hours and still wasn’t dry! Returned the machine !!!!

      Hello - Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This is not a normal occurrence for the Ultrafast Combo. We recommend that you download the SmartHQ app to make sure your unit has the latest software update. Also, check to make sure that the machine is properly leveled and the clench nuts on the legs are locked. Out of balance can contribute to extended load sensing times. We hope you find this helpful.     I have tried drying the same load at 4-5 times. Did all the troubleshooting steps, this absolutely does not dry. Will be calling to replace

    Purchased new but sent a used one

    Angry. Washer combo was heavy not to mention covered in water, the inside drum was rusted and the power cord was bent. I purchased this new not open box or refurbished, now I have to wait another week for a replacement and not to mention cost me $50 for the laundry mat while I’m Waiting on a replacement. Customer service did not do anything for my inconvenience will never make a big purchase from Best Buy again

    Not impressed. Had this for a year now and it went out just after the year warranty. Started with the clothes not drying (more than the shake it in the air and it'll be dry method would fix), now it won't even put water in the unit. The vent to the heat pump gets clogged easily and if you have pets, the drain will get plugged. Sad thing is that I got this when it was 3K and it's been a giant piece of crap most of the time.

    I absolutely hate this machine. My clothes never dry first time and sometime not even second or third. I do not over fill my washer because I want my clothes clean. Worst purchase by far!

    Had to replace it twice, motherboard first time and knocking when in spin mode second. Great concept just wish it would have worked out. Im replaceing it with LG 5.0 combo. Hope it works better. Will update

    Everything was brand new before they arrived. The third party Best Buy hired damaged our laundry box and could not even install the water line without ruining the threads and BREAKING OFF the hot water knob. To top it all off, they dropped the plastic knob in the drain and lied, saying it was never there. Please please please buy your laundry machine somewhere else and save yourself so much hassle and grief.

    I would give this negative stars if I could. I've had three service calls on this machine, it does not work. I have had multiple calls with service and am already having a major tech repair. GE has been horrible with their customer service and because I was a week out of my return date due to remodel construction, I was unable to return with Best Buy. DO NOT BUY.

    this is the worse laundry machine we've ever owned I wouldn't recommend it to anyone service has been here multiple times for 353 error and board issues they replaced 1 board with new board 2nd board was junk tech never verified the machine was working properly before leaving we try to wash and the buttons don't allow us to start the machine so once again we are waiting for another tech to come next week
