    We have had this combo for 5 months and we are already having to call for repairs. It worked fine in the beginning but now we have noticed there is no lint in the lint trap, and we have to constantly rerun the drying cycle because it's not getting the clothes dry. A load of towels took 10 hours and they were still not dry. Wtf!!! Don't waste your money on this! It's truly not the best buy!!!!!

      We understand your concern about the Combo not having any lint after a completed cycle. Lint is created during the wash process by the effect of clothes rubbing against one another and generating lint. If the wash loads are light and very little lint is created, there will be less lint during the dryer cycle. Also, lint is flushed away as the washer drains the water out. However, we would still expect the Combo to collect some lint. We recommend scheduling a service appointment for one of our qualified technicians to assess your unit.     Do not buy. Technicians can't work on it.

    Do not buy this model. We had 4 different technicians come out to fix it, and a month later, GE is still not able to fix it, and won't work with us to get a replacement. We actually don't want the same model, since the warranty is not supported since they aren't traing the technicians.

    Not what i expected biught this machine Nov of 2023. I had a tech comeout on last Wednesday because the drying is not drying my clothes he says that i have a Freon leak and the parts to fix it are $1500 covered by my warranty but the $575 labor isnt. Called customer service theyre not going to cover ther labor cost. The technician says that he sees Freon leaks it has something to do with the vibration of the machine. New service call is this week ill see how that goes but for a $3k machine this shouldn't be happening. Ill update after repairs are done

    Admittedly, I was a little leery of getting a combination washer/dryer, like what kind of magic makes this work. I am pleasantly surprised. It works great. It is so nice to just set it and forget and have my phone tell me it's done because I am forgetful. Side note for others considering: the clothes do feel damp when the dry cycle is complete but if you you read the owner's manual and shake the clothes they are dry. I also love that this has a sanitize option for a wash cycle

    I don’t like it I want my old one back

    I don’t like the smell of my clothes , I don’t like water that is still in machine when you get the dry clothes out, not much of a stain remover, over all it just seems like it didn’t even wash my clothes , for this kind of money you would think they would have fixed this smell issue that has been going on for over 20 yrs , it’s not a convince, cause when my stuff is in the dryer another load goes in, which you still have to wait for the load to dry,

This should help resolve any new machine smells that may exist as a residual odor from the manufacturing process.     One year warranty is horrible

    A 1-year warranty on all the electronics and sensors is a joke. One small power surge would take it all out,, The money you save on electricity best put it back you'll need it for repairs.

      Hello. We are confident in the quality of our Combo, and we would not expect you to have an issue like this. Regarding our warranty, while many potential concerns would be covered, damage to the product caused by accident, fire, floods or acts of God would not be. If you’d like to view the details of the one year warranty (as well as the five year warranty on the sealed heat pump drying system and the ten year warranty on the motor), information on that is on page 34 of the manual. You can view the manual on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page.     It lasted 4 months. It was great. Clothes are incredibly clean and smell wonderful. Then it started making a loud buzzing sound in the drying mode. Now it throws a fault code saying the dryer us overheating. Code 353. I've done the basic stuff. Check ventilation, clean lint trap after every load. Geek Squad won't touch it until after the first year. So, I'd pay extra for their protection for nothing. GE customer service is absolutely atrocious. Finally, after a week, ge puts in the service request to a local repair place. They're the best town. However, they have no clue on how to work on it because I'm the first one with an issue. There are no factory GE techs in the state of South Dakota. It's been inop for a month. I'd pass on this. Get a traditional set because it might take months to get it fixed. And then I'll eat it and get something different.

      We want to help with the issue you've had with drying. We recommend making sure the pump filter isn't clogged, as this can cause clothes to be too wet. More tips about a drying issue are available on pages 27 and 28 of the manual; that can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number, go the product's page and view the 'Owner Support' section. We also have tips about what to check for a drying issue in an article on our GE Appliances website titled "GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Clothes Not Dry When Drying Cycle is Complete". We suggest making sure the software is up-to-date, and we have tips about checking the software version in an article on our website titled "GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Finding the Software Version ID". You can view those articles when you look up the titles and click the 'Support' tab. If you aren't able to solve the drying issue with troubleshooting, our Bodewell service team can be reached at 1-833-426-3393.     If I could give it zero stars I would. It worked well for about 3 months then we noticed the total load time continued to increase. When we first got it it would take about 2 hours and 15 minutes to wash and dry a load. 6 months of owning it I can do a load in 11 hours. I am told, after technician calls, that it is working as good as I will for our situation. I still don’t know what that means. We wash clothes weekly(like most people). I am very disappointed with this product and the fact that GE will not stand behind it. Technicians are not trained to work on this product so they just kind of “wing it.” We now can only wash clothes so we basically have a very expensive washer. It’s true what they say, if it’s too good to be true, it probably is.

    Bought a washer dryer combo in November, after 2 months it started taking longer to dry and noticed a bunch of lint in the back when you pull the lint trap out. Called service they came out an cleared some of the lint out, called back the next week, the load sensing came on and ran for 2 hrs on the dryer. Tech came back out said they had to ordered a new sensor. Called and again the dryer was sending out codes, 352-353 saying the unit was over heating, had appointment for service they called and said that the appointment was cancelled because the part was on back order till June. The tech showed up an I told him what they said an that you wouldn’t be showing up. He said that’s not right called his dispatch an his dispatch said they would over night the part. Never showed up, called customer service the told us the it is on back order till June, nothing in the notes about over night the item.
