It makes a difference in the taste of the nugget ice. Without it the ice may have a heavy chlorinated taste and can affect the flavor of iced coffee, tea, soft drinks or whatever you drink.

Easy install nice little filter for clean ice

And the filter reset does not work on the app. But all in all filter cubes are great

I didn't feel like using my fridge water due to the amount of time it takes to fill 75oz of water compared to using the sink faucet.

It’s definitely not cheap but I love nugget ice and it’s a necessary item to maintain the cleanliness of the device
