This is just a very basic solid pedestal that is 7 in high to elevate your washer and dryer. I'm a little dismayed at how they can charge as much as they do for this piece, but we are pretty glad we got them anyway. They offer these pedestals in 7 in and then also a 16 inch that has a drawer. The 7-in pedestal elevates the washer and dryer to a perfect height for the average size person. I feel like the 16-in would be way too tall and would make the top of the washer and dryer be too high to use for setting baskets on or anything else. I also think the 16-inch pedestals would cause the washer and dryer to potentially not fit underneath overhead cabinets that are hung at a standard height. So when deciding between the 7 inch and 16-in pedestals make sure you do your measuring correctly for the space you have to put these in. The pedestals themselves are a little bit of a pain in the rear to put on. If you are doing these yourself just be aware that the time to put these on is when you first get the machines. Make sure you leave the shipping bolts in the washing machine to flip it on its side. I'm not sure if there's an advantage in the 16 inch models having a drawer, because if you were trying to elevate your washer so that you don't have to bend over as much to get clothing out, I'm not really sure why you would want to bend all the way to the floor to get laundry items out of a drawer? Despite the added cost we are really glad that we got these.

This pedestal makes it much easier to reach into the front-load washer (and dryer). I strongly recommend this pedestal for anyone over 5ft 10” tall. It will make the task of loading and unloading laundry much easier on your back. Installation will require two people

I love that this stand makes my washer/dryer stand up higher. Although I wish it wouldn't make the sound when it spins so loud. When it sat on the floor it was so much Quiter.

This pedestal is a godsend. I have back problems and having to bend way over and lean way into my previous washer and dryer was very difficult and painful. I do wish it had a drawer in it for some added storage however.

It serves the purpose but a bit overpriced since it does not have a built in drawer. Good for someone with bending issues. Would not recommend for younger very flexible people

This product worked perfectly for me due to my washer being under my attic pull down stairs, I could not fit the drawer unit in the space. The product was very easy to install and I find it so convenient to not have to bend down so far to load and unload my washer. I was sceptical when purchasing this thinkng that it would be flimsy but it is well built. The price from Best buy was the cheapest I found while doing research and as always I had a great customer experience.

The pedestals are functional and adds ease when transferring laundry from washer to dryer.

We had never seen or used one before, once installed it was a little intimidating but we soon found out just how easy it was to use! The machine is very quiet when running and it seems to be a water saver, the selections for different size loads offer a lot of choices from 1 shirt to a king size comforter! Very happy with our purchase!

Perfect height for my wife, no more bending over to change out laundry.

Riser matches the washers look, there is a bit of rattling but I am not sure if this was due to improper installation by the third party. Overall great height for the washer.

The pedestal add height, ease of loading and unloading the machine, and of course a total difference look. I should have purchased it when I bought the washer but I was naive to the bonus factor that it provides. I will not make that mistake again. Thanks

The extra 7" of height provided by this pedestal makes it easier to load and unload my Ultrafast Washer/Dryer Combo. Getting the machine off the ground also helps when it comes time to drain the water pump filter for cleaning, since there's more room to position a container to catch the water. However, the very sticky rubber feet and the narrow access between the pedestal and machine make it difficult to make fine adjustments when leveling the combo. Front-load machines spin very fast, so precise leveling is critical. Even if you pay for a professional install, sometimes fine-tuning will be needed after the fact, and it's hard to do with this pedestal. Finally, the front panel appears to only be attached to the rest of the pedestal at the 2 upper corners. This leaves the panel free to move at the bottom edge. During spin cycles, this results in loud shaking and creaking noises. I'm considering using double-sided foam tape to secure the panel. I have this unit because it came free with the purchase of an Ultrafast Combo. At the full MSRP, I don't think it's worth picking up. If you need the extra height because of limited mobility, it's the only option available.

Perfect height for the GE all-in-one washer dryer combo machine. Prevents me from having to bend down too far when loading and unloading. Matches perfectly and is well balanced

Beautiful color to match our washer and dryer. We needed them lifted and it is the perfect height for me.

Adds a good amount of height to the unit making it easier to reach in / out of for doing laundry

The good is it brings the washer/dryer combo up enough that you don’t have to do a full squat to get into it. The bad news it is thin sheet metal over a rigid frame. When the unit goes into spin cycle with a load of towels that thin sheet metal slaps the inside metal frame about 1000 times per minute. It’s very loud and very annoying. The combo weighs as much as a fridge so we will see if I can get it off and put some rubber between.

It’s a stand not much to say. But without this it would be hard to drain and clean the pumps lint trap.

works fine in raising washer and dryer to a more comfortable height for loading and emptying. Only drawback is that there is no drawer for storage

Exactly what we needed for the new washer/dryer. Height of the pedestal makes use much easier.
