Another great gears game. Doesn’t reinvent the wheel, which gears doesn’t need but adds a little rpg elements with the weapons and a little open world areas. Overall loved the game as well as story.

This is a Kool game. I’m a big fan of the Franchise. I still think Gears 3 was the best of them all, but I really enjoyed this one because of how different it was. It’s a Must have if you are a Gears Fan.

I purchased this game during 2020 Thanksgiving week for $4.99 before taxes. I would recommend to buy this game brand new because the downloadable content (DLC) code is on a voucher. It is quite a bargain.

The game was visually stunning and its a great entry into the series. It's worth getting the game at a discount though since many other prefer the original trilogy. Other than that it's worth your time.

Gears 5 is interesting, I am new to the Gears of War and I am still continuing to understand the game a little bit more! So far, it’s a great game in 4K HDR and I look forward to play through the game!

If you liked the other four games you will love Gears Of War 5, it is action packed and will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time and it adds plenty of new modes and content to keep you busy, well worth buying.

I want to love Gears of War 5 because of how great the gameplay is but I just can’t. I will say that if you only play Gears of War for the campaign, you absolutely should buy it because it’s great. I know a lot of people were worried about this but there’s no political messaging I noticed in the story. The story is excellent, by the way. My only issues with the campaign is that open world is too dead and boring at times, and the ending is an incomplete cliffhanger. The multiplayer is where I absolutely despise this game, though. If feels more casual than competitive, which I know will upset some people, but the biggest problem is the absolutely absurd pace of progression all in the name of trying to force you into buying microtransactions. If you choose not to give in to this horrible system like me, it will take you almost FIFTEEN HOURS OF GAMEPLAY TO UNLOCK NEW CHARACTERS! DO NOT buy this game if you play Gears for the multiplayer aspect!

Just played this with the SeriesX enhancements and it looks amazing. The game also added some nice exploration features not found in previous entries, so it’s a fresh take on the Gears of War franchise.

Excellent Game I bought it just before they gave it for free on Xbox Live Gold. I like physical games and had Game pass but wanted to own it. Great when you can find for 5 bucks for a collector

Just started playing it, so far the game hasn’t disappointed. Gears of War series is just an Xbox exclusive and you know it always brings out the best graphics the gaming system as to offer especially on the Xbox one X.

My favorite Gears of War game. I grew-up with the entire series. I think Gears 5 looks gorgeous on the Series X

I can't remember the last time a game came out that was 4 player split screen co-op. 10 stars for that! Game has a few bugs that I'm sure will be fixed with updates, but doesn't ruin the game. Definitely recommend.

Loved the game and story. I like purchasing the digital version because I can play on my pc and Xbox without any issues. Saves transfer over between systems so you can continue gameplay.

Got this game on clearance, and what a steal price for a great game for the Xbox consoles. Made even better when playing the updated version on Series X.

Got this for free when it was on sale for $5 and I had expiring points on my account. If you have Game Pass on Xbox, I recommend playing it there! Game is fun and have lots of content.
