Gears 5 did not feel like a rehash. Really enjoyed the gameplay mechanic tweaks. Story was solid. Can’t wait for Gears 6!

The campaign that Gears of War bring is awesome and the other multiplayer mode are just as fun when playing with friends.

This game is an improvement over Gears 4 IMO. Graphics are great, gameplay was engaging. Would like to see a better story line, this one was a little underwhelming.

Its no secret the Achilles heel of the xbox brand in this console generation is the lack of exclusives... Gears 5 does a lot to change that with an excellent campaign and multi player, not to mention arguably the best graphics and presentation of any game this generation. Heading into the next gen Microsoft needs more exclusives like gear 5, killer instinct and more open world games to truly compete. Gears 5 proves they have the capability to compete with sony and Nintendo.

gears of war comes back to its roots with the whole package. engaging campaign and great multiplayer and horde mode

I feel like we are paying more for less game anymore. There were only 4 acts versus the old games having at least 5. It also seems that campaigns are less of a focus, now i see more shift to online multi player. This is really disappointing because my husband and I love game series that had great local co-op so we can play together. I liked where this story was headed with kaits connection to the locust and the twist ending decision you have to make has me wanting to know what happens next. So I'm still interested in the series but really hope they can step up more for the next.

Best entry in the Gears series by far. The introduction of some open world exploration elements was really cool.

Pros Great deal for the game. Since I got it just recently started playing the multiplayer and not much of difference between 4 and 5 but worth it. The campaign as well started about a week ago and with my first 2 missions doesn't give much to warm up to only what had happen in the recent story from the previous mom missing. Cons It sucks that you have to buy the rest add ons separately and not all together as a season pass. So I'm skipping that Bull----.

This is a great pick up especially with it being supported on the Xbox series X to make it even better.

Got this game $24.99 on black Friday instead of $59.99. Good game to play just didn't like the deaths & ending.
