    So far I have just played multiplayer. But I like it so far. The mechanics feel very natural. The cover system works very well. The maps at launch are overall solid. Obviously there is always a few maps you dislike. But I like more than not. Graphically this pushes the Xbox One X to the limit. Frame rate consistently stays fluid. Even at 4K resolutions with HDR.

    Have only played campaign mode, so that is all I can comment on. Visually this game is stunning in 4K with HDR10. At least on my Xbox Series X. I have an Xbox One S as well, but have not run it on there, and don’t know if it would run as well on that old system. Really enjoy the campaign mode great story, and fun.

    The multiplayer is alot better alot less lag more interesting and fun game

    Graphics are amazing. Read Ascendance, good back story. The series is just great and Gears 5 just brings more back home. Campaign is fantastic. Good story and new uses of the robots Dave and Jack. Prepare for more fun and a must have if you are into the Gears franchise. Playability is smooth on Xbox X.

    Gears 5 is so far the best installment in the series. The action and pacing is fantastic; the controls feel heavy but also smooth; and enjoying it in coop is excellent. As a veteran in the franchise, I'm disappointed by the constant repetition on the insane difficulty and don't remember the lack of revival from previous installments. That being said, it is a breeze on normal.

    This is my first Gears of War game and I have to say I love it! Lots of fun, great action, I enjoy the third person view more then a first person shooter and this game gives me that. Overall I must say it's a lot of fun, I have more game to play, but I'm enjoying the solo campaign mode and I'm looking forward to completing it.

    This is an excellent entry into the Gears saga. Wonderful 4K HDR visuals bring to life the story. This will also play on the yet to be released Xbox Series X and will load even faster and look even better. Can’t wait to see this when the console is released end of year. Highly recommend
