Gears 5 did not feel like a rehash. Really enjoyed the gameplay mechanic tweaks. Story was solid. Can’t wait for Gears 6!

Gears 5 single player campaign is a fun game in the Gears series. Great open world, great graphics and fun to play.

It’s another Gears of War game. What more can I say? Solid game at a good price. I’m not a huge fan of shooters anymore but Gears is good.

The game has very good graphics, it runs well on Xbox One X. The story is long and extremely fun online and offline.

I feel like we are paying more for less game anymore. There were only 4 acts versus the old games having at least 5. It also seems that campaigns are less of a focus, now i see more shift to online multi player. This is really disappointing because my husband and I love game series that had great local co-op so we can play together. I liked where this story was headed with kaits connection to the locust and the twist ending decision you have to make has me wanting to know what happens next. So I'm still interested in the series but really hope they can step up more for the next.

This is my first Gears game and I really enjoyed it. The graphics, story-line and movement are unbelievable!

gears of war comes back to its roots with the whole package. engaging campaign and great multiplayer and horde mode

Best entry in the Gears series by far. The introduction of some open world exploration elements was really cool.

Pros Great deal for the game. Since I got it just recently started playing the multiplayer and not much of difference between 4 and 5 but worth it. The campaign as well started about a week ago and with my first 2 missions doesn't give much to warm up to only what had happen in the recent story from the previous mom missing. Cons It sucks that you have to buy the rest add ons separately and not all together as a season pass. So I'm skipping that Bull----.

Got this game $24.99 on black Friday instead of $59.99. Good game to play just didn't like the deaths & ending.

Being a fan of the gears of war series since the Xbox 360 i have enjoyed all the games that have been released and this one is no exception. From the great looking scenery to the fast and frantic online multiplayer gameplay, this is on game no gears of war fan should miss. One of the best parts about this game is that it has also been optimized for the Xbox Series X/S making the graphics look even more awesome.

Although these games have become cut-and-paste, I still find them entertaining. Gears gives me exactly what I expect- third-person shooter, grungy aesthetics, exaggerated characters, gratuitous gore, and a story I somewhat care about. These are fun games despite lacking innovation in later installments. Regardless, I know when I put this game in, I'm going to have fun and chainsaw some baddies.

Really fun and surprisingly cheap, one of the better upgrades to try out on Series X

The game has a great story and the graphics are excellent. Multiplayer is one of the best.
