Gears 5 looks and feels great. The campaign is about 14 hours long. You can play alone or with friends on xbox live. The multiplayer is good. There's a ton of different game modes. The game had connection issues at launch but they've patched most issues. If your a gears fan or a love shooters it's a buy.

Top notch third person action game with best in class graphics. With the series x upgrade it might be the best looking game on console. Good story that answers lots of questions dating back to the beginning of the series. Great game for hardcore fans and new comers alike.

Gears 5 is a good game for fans of the franchise. I think this game is a Improvement from Gears of War 4 that bought a lot of new gameplay and characters into the franchise but was slightly disappointing to me. Gears of War 5 meshes the new gameplay and characters with what fans already love very well.

I have always been a fan of the Gears series and 5 has not disappointed. Horde has been improved upon with a lot more challenging enemies to provide hours of challenges and fun. The campaign is well told and will definitely have you hooked wanting to play more and more. This game won't dissapoint.

The focus isn't on Fenix anymore...more the daughter of the Horde Queen. Shocking series of events in the game which I won't spoil. The graphics, sound, characters are top notch. Story is a little re-hashed but otherwise you will enjoy the helloutta this game!

Purchased as a bonus gift for son for his stocking. Wasn’t sure he was going to like it but when he opened it he smiled from ear to ear. Apparently he wanted it and was afraid to ask me to buy it. He ssys he enjoys it

Excellent and fun campaign with all the characters. Story is good, combat, visuals and gameplay is amazing! This game support Dolby atmos and DTS X i use a proper headphone the game is even better! Multiplayer is fun as the previous gears and addictive

I'm a long-time gears of war player. I've played all of the games up to this point. If you're familiar with the series, you'll probably want to pick this up. I usually only do the single player campaign so the online is not a big selling point for me. There were a lot of issues at launch on the multiplayer side, so I just stuck with the campaign. It's your typical gears game, which is a good thing. All of the weapons and collectibles are there like in other Gears games. They say that it's an open world game but it's really not because you're not allowed to explore anywhere you want. There are some nice little side missions to do, but nothing too difficult. You can play as JD or Kait on the single player campaign, which is nice variety. Depending on how much exploring you do, the game is about 20 + hours. There's definitely replay value in the single-player campaign, over done it a few times now. All in all if your gears of war fan, this game is good for your library!

If you're a Gears player you know what that summary means! Campaign: Most die hard fans didn't like Judgement and were lukewarm on GOW 4 but it was needed, the story so far in Gears 5 is back to what made the game great to start with. The added things in the story will help to get others into it and I don't feel like they took anything away from the main story MP: TBH I suck at versus but it's fun and the changes they made should add to it. I am a Horde player and versus AI(go ahead and laugh LOL), Horde is "fresh" again fun to play, haven't played the new Escape mode but looking forward to it. Not to sure about the boost stuff and iron and such, apparently that's how you "purchase" skill cards and/or skins. will see how that works out after playing for a couple of months.

Gears of war 5 is true to form in the series. The campaign takes chances this time around, yet feels way more focused than the previous entries. I love to think that gears of war 3 is the still my favorite gears but 5 is giving it a run for the money!

I have been having a blast with this game. It is by far the most refined game in the series and runs smooth as butter on X1X/XSS/XSX. Can not recommend this enough if you have enjoyed any of the previous Gears games. Even better with a friend!

Purchased this for five dollars, I cannot miss the gears of war trilogy without this in my collection, I’m very happy and satisfied that I was able to grab it. Game is awesome not really that bad would recommend it for any price point points ha hank you

Its an amazing game but also on gamepass if you wanna try it out. Its more open world than previous entries and in my opinion the characters aren't as interesting as the originals in 1 through 3 but it still plays great and the visuals are the best.

The story continues right where it left off, Gears fans will enjoy the story. Graphics look as good as expected on a 4K tv. If your new to Gears play 4 first the original games from 360 have a different story line. You can go back and play those anytime with backward compatibility.

I was a little disappointed in Gears 4, however it was still a good game overall. This one improves in almost all areas. Pacing and story is better than the previous games. Please note, I purchased the physical game, however it is available for free if you have xbox gamepass.

I have played every Gears of Wars game ever released outside of the strategy game they recently released. This is the best Gears game yet. If they can make a better one with Gears 6 I will be shocked.

Another great Xbox One Exclusive with excellent graphics and game play.
