Very fun game, but not as good as the originals. Very good price too

Excellent game! It takes the Gears series to the next level. The biggest change is it is now more open world, so there are mini side missions if you want more to do. The story is interesting and action packed. Play this game if you can!

Well, GOW, what a series. I have played each and every one of the GOW. I do not think was my favorite by no means does that mean it was a bad game. It kept me on the edge of my seat and the graphics flexing the XBX One X capabilities is stunning. A definite must.

Gears 5 is a great entry in the series. It looked great on Xbox One X when I played it initially. I've since upgraded to an Xbox Series X and looked at it there, and Wow. It looks amazing running at 60fps.

I purchased this digital copy of Gears 5 for $5. Could not pass up buying this iconic game for my Xbox Series X at such a great price! If you're a fan of the Gears games, then this is a must buy.

Long time Gears fan and 5 delivers the satisfying Gears gameplay with new features and level design. Great co op experience and an overall good title from MS finally.

This game is really entertaining and very pleasing to the eyes. Its a great looking game. I feel like the Hive Busters DLC is even better looking.

Great game. Fun, decent story, but I miss all the carnage from the older gears games, and the blood stayed around. And when you hit someone, they actually had some weight behind the hit and were thrown in much cooler ways. Small I know, but it seems like a slightly lesser graphics were put into the "most powerful console". Still get it, it's fun, and maybe they'll put better graphics in 6???

Gears 5 has great diversity in atmosphere and new landscapes that gives the franchise a refreshed look for older fans of series. It is a fantastic direct sequel to Gears 4. Definitely a must buy!!! Most importantly controls are tight and the Graphics are brilliant!!!

Gameplay is a fun story but predictable. Ending was intense but not descriptive.

If you liked Gears 4, you’ll enjoy this latest installment. The campaign is fun and challenging. There is some ability to play an open map style (only in one area so far) which I enjoyed as well. Haven’t tried any multiplayer stuff, not really my thing.

Superb come back. This is a must if you really enjoy this series. It definitely does not keep you on hold or waiting for the excitement. Get ready for some serious fun on the Xbox one.

Granted 3rd person shooters are different from 1st person and this game tries to make some bold assertions in today’s world. But it’s still Gears and still a blast. You can also start the series here and work backwards if you’ve never geared up before.

One of the best games in the series! If you are a fan of the series you will definitely love this one! The gameplay and graphics are good overall a good buy especially for the price!

Got this game for my Xbox Series S. It plays great and looks fantastic on this system. I grew up playing the original Gears on Xbox 360.

This game has a great story and the best graphics on ANY console this generation. Yes even better than God of War! Also this one is semi-open world. And plenty of multiplayer modes.

Big fan of the GEARS series and this game doesn't disappoint. I picked this up at Christmas for $5! Worth it! The addition of open world gameplay was very nice, and there are plenty of things to collect.

Gears 5 is a great continuation of the series. The gameplay is fun and the characters and bad guys are designed well. I've had fun playing what little I have so far. If you're a fan of the series you should pick this one up as well.
