Pretty hard to fix what isn't broken. Same mechanics with some new ones added, overall if you liked any of the previous games in the series, you'll love this one.

The multi-player is excellent. Exactly what you would expect from gears. There are a good amount of microtransactions though and even a $100 one which is sad.

This game is great. Love the online play. The only thing I don't like is having to go back to the lobby after each game to look for new people to play with.

Bust out the popcorn and controllers boys and girls because this is an absolute treat when played on the Xbox One X paired with a quality 4k TV.

Pretty fun game. It was cool that the pre-order got me the game 4 days early. Watch out for the split screen. You lose some of the screen area.

Love the gears of war series and it's better then ever! Old man Marcus is amazing and really liked the beginning, brought back old memories!!!

Bought it for my son. Won't be able to help much as far as a game review but it was a pre order and pick up was fast and easy on release day.

I only play the online part & it's finally good again unlike the last one judgement. If you liked gears 2 & 3 online you'll enjoy this one.

Love this game! Have played the previous ones and this is right up same ally. I play co-op with my significant other and we have a blast!

Fantastic game! I was slightly disappointed when they took away the 4 player co-op, but that was the only drawback! I love Gears of War!

Awesome story line.Great mix of "new" and "old" gears .I have been a gears fan from game 1.I can see the Gears of War saga continuing.

After I played the remastered version I was turned off from new gears but gears 4 won me over again. Same magic from original trilogy.

Great graphics and cinematics. The plot..eh. Another limited play game, so few today are interesting enough to captivate for more than a couple weeks. Titanfall 2 however is great

Got this for my kids to play and they like it. It's got a little blood and swearing but nothing they don't see on the television.

This game was great. It also comes with the first 4 games via dlc code. Just getting the first 4 games alone is worth the price.

Game single player is fine. Nothing compared to Gears 3 though. Multiplayer is really dull compared to Gears 3 as well. Seems that Gears 4 had too much of one good thing then devs forgot to finish the rest of the game. Microtransactions which is awful is all over multiplayer. It really is pointless to level up in the game at all. Everything you want or hope to unlock can be obtain spending REAL money. And majority is only unlocked spending money. Give this game a rent or wait till it's cheaper. Gears 4 is exactly what Halo 5 turned to and that took a lot of fixing for the game to be where it shouldve been. Gears 4 suffers the same fate.

My son and his best friend have been playing this nonstop. They love being able to go back and do all of the games in order.

Though the dialoge with the new characters seems cheesy and akward; the balance between the new and old characters is great.

Enjoyed this game a lot The single player campaign is great and its even more fun if you have a friend to play co op with.

It's a fun game that I'm sure resonates with Gears of War nostalgia. But I think there's better third person shooter games out there such as Uncharted, the Division ETC.
