I bought to game awhile back. The game has great graphics like most current generation games. It also has plenty of action and good co-op campaign. I have never finished the game, however. I bought the game because of the hype at school, played it for 2-3 days, and never played since. It's not a bad game, it's just that, to me, the game did not keep up to all its hype and put down my urge to play. In the game, you have plenty of weapons to use, the co-op is unique. At some points in the game, you and your friend would have to split up taking different routes, I thought that was pretty cool. Also, the "finishing moves" when you verse a friend was original. I would recommend to others tho, just because I didn't like it doesn't make the game bad.

i dont understand all the hype about this game. There are sooooo many better 360 games out there than gears. The singleplayer is short and the story line is extremly vague and dry. the multiplayer is filled with racist 8 year olds and glitchers. the only good part about this game is the online co-op. my friends and i had a good time playing thru it.

I thought Gears wasnt al that great, i mean ya, good graphics, Gore, blood, all that good stuff, but it just did not seem fun anymore after the first time i beat it. Its hard isnt that hard either. this is not that good of a game dont buy, rent!

While the package is certainly pretty - arguably better than anything else on the market (besides Uncharted for PS3) - the game itself is flawed, rewarding players for simply repeating the same, tired formula level after level, never offering any real variety to the gameplay. The story and character design are among the most generic available, and none of the characters has any real personality in their voice acting or in their animation (never once did they move in a human fashion). After it's beaten, the multiplayer is enjoyable for a week or so. You'll be fortunate to play this one again after it's completed.

I didnt like this game. It was to short in the story mode and online was ok but wasnt the greatest.

If you can get pass the Short campaign, laggy on line game play and a lot of glitches and also no colors (its mostly gray/brown, very little blue and very little red) then the game is okay…

man this game was awful i mean noting was there to keep me entertained graphic's aint all that great and the movement of the charcter was pityful in other word's DONT BUY THIS GAME.

Gears of war is one of the best games ever for x-box360. I love it!!!! I just cant wait for the Gears of war 2 to come out. IT ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
