The approach on this game is amazing. The game play is something out of this world, and it just plays so well. This was the only reason I bought an Xbox. After playing it at my friends house, I couldn't put the controller down. Must have for any Xbox owner. Simply Amazing.

I was not a fan of these types of games, but I went to a friends house and played Gears. Within a month I bought the XBox360 Elite, and this game, and have finished it twice. Awsome graphics and surround sound. The AI is also very smart unlike some games where your cover man is stuck around a corner. Overall, I recommend this game to all!!!!

The story line was really fun to play and took awhile to beat. The online multi-player was too difficult for me to get good enough at to have any fun as everyone else online seemed to kill me so fast I couldn't ever learn to get better. The ranking system is too wide.

Definitely the best shooter on the market. It is, in my opinion, better than previous Halo games and is by far much more interactive and complex. Actually takes strategy and teamwork instead of holding the Trigger and hoping you shoot someone while jumping up and down like in Halo. Would recommend this game to any 360 owner.

To put it simply, the game is amazing. The graphics are like nothing you've seen before in a video game. On a SDTV, they are brilliant. On a HDTV, they are breathtaking. But what keeps you coming back for more, months after you've beaten the game, is the gameplay. It's fun. Nothing complicated about it. It's just plain fun.

The feel of the game is very unique and is one of my favorites out of all the 360 games I've played. I'll definatally be getting the GOW2 and probably GOW3 if they ever do it. The story is somewhat short but you get to go through it twice for all of the achivements and of course Multiplayer is also very fun over xbox live.

Gears of War is one of the best games I have played. It has many new and exciting fetures that have never been seen before in other games. The game play is intense and exciting, but after only one or two plays the game freezes. This happened to me and to many of my friends. The online part still worked, but the campagin didnt.

Gears of War is definitely a must have for any shooter fans. Yes, it might be a take cover and shoot game but it is more than that. The co-op mode, in my opinion, is far better than any co-op modes i have ever played including Halo 3. Online play is pretty good. The story is very good. You need to get this game.

If you own a Xbox360 and don't have this game I have one question, what are you waiting for? This game is the best title you can get on 360.You play as Marcus Fenix you must battle a horde of Locust who don't stop coming,and won't stop killing. Gears of War is a great game, featuring very cool, innovative weapons, and nice cover system. The graphics are very good and sounds are awesome. Co-op mode is very fun because of the great blend of teamwork and action. The story is very short though, and the gameplay can get repetitive going through it. Overall the technical stuff is great but the fun only lasts and for so long.

Having been a huge fan of the Halo series, this game gave me a nice little break while waiting for Halo3 to come out. The environment is very nice looking and the weapons are alot of fun to play with. Co-op let's the team separate on some areas so they are not always fighting together. I'm not a big fan of the online play. It's kind of limited and the maps are pretty small.

This game is great. The story line is not detailed like a Resident Evil but the story fits this game. Cant wait till the 2nd one. This is the perfect game for Xbox Live. Go on and try it.

First 360 game i ever played. The graphics blew me away. I enjoyed playing the campaign. The plot was interesting and the characters added some humor. Onlines fun but if you don't like dieing and waiting for the round to be over then your outta luck. I can't wait for the second one to come out

This is a great game with a awsome story line. Online play is pretty sweet when you play with your friends. The maps are also cool for online play and so are the weapons. The only suggestion i have is to not over play if you do it will get boring i found that out the hard way. The only reason that i rated it a 4 star is that there are WAY TO MANY online glitches.

This is an amazing game. The game is very interactive and you can control the player in a lot of ways. Weapons are amazing and the plot is really cool. Online is amazing, it is so fun to play. The graphics are exceptional, you can see every detail. You cannot own a 360 without this game!

If you don't already own this, ask your self why? I was all hyped up to play Halo 3, so why did I go back to playing Gears? This is the best game on the XBOX 360. Great challenge for pros and easy enough for beginners to complete. The only dissapointment is the final battle. Too short.

This is a must have first person shooter game for any serious gamer over the age of 17 as the graphics are very Bloody and lots of gore. Muti-Player features stunning game play graphics 2nd to none. My only regrets are I waited to purchase this title intead of on the release date.

I love the game! The graphics are awesome! Story line? What story? lol. The onle line game play is fun if you can find a room that is not being horded by a set group that likes to play with each other, and not any new comers. So, when your new watch your back because you can shoot a team mate, and if you aren't in the click they will shoot you.

If you are in to shooters, then Gears of War is definitely the first game you should get for your 360. Its gameplay is a little short, but it's multiplayer is amazing, rivaling that of Halo 2. Its graphics are also some of the best I have ever seen. 5 out of 5 on this one.
