Good graphics and good sound very good game for xbox 1

Remaster donne right. One if the best games ever made.

Great gameplay, great graphics and great multiplayer.

As far as remasters go, the developer really nailed it with this one. Everything looks sharper and the lighting is much improved, and it still gives me that same feeling of awe I had when I played the original way back when. The only flaw I can see is in the multiplayer. It's missing some of the features that were added in Gears 3, and in a way it feels like more a step backward than a step forward in that regard.

Brings back a lot of great memories. Tons of fun!!

One of my all time favorite games remade for current gen systems. The graphics are beautiful and while the gameplay is diverse and fun there is a feeling that begins to hit you of been there, done that. While it's a very well made game playing it so long after it originally came out shows its age. For $40 it's still a great way to see how beautiful the newer consoles can look and how fun the game originally was.

I've had Gears of War forever on my 360 (Well 3rd one, but enough about that.) Getting older and kids growing up. I wanted to recreate that awesome campaign feeling, the absolutely perfect storytelling, direction. My son says to me "Are you going to play your *new* game all day?". What could my answer be? "Yes". I'm a COG.

Great classic for a small price. Looks great and they even added new modes to Multiplayer.

Bought it because I'm a fan of the original and was pleasantly surprised at just how much of a difference the upgrades make. If you've played it and are looking to revisit it's absolutely worth it. If you haven't played it and like action games, this is a classic that is still an A+, but it looks/sounds better than ever.

To have the chance to relive one of my favorite stories in 1080p !! Priceless!!! Game plays like a dream and I haven't reached the bonus of the campaign yet! There's supposed to be like an extra 2 hours of campaign added to the original story !! So Far it's Amazing !! Worth every penny!! Can't wait for the Next Gears !!!

The graphics and fps make this game feel brand new

If you played the original then expect better graphics, snoother gameplay, and more gore. If you haven't played the original, this is your chance to play a xbox classic that EVcompatiblity on Xbox One. Regardless if you've played it before... if you get and play this game before 12/31, you will unlock all of the previous Gears of War games thru backward compatiblity, even the original original. Great value!

The online game play is awesome. The graphics look great. Story mode is also very good.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition was purchased for my grandsons. I've played Gears of War 1 - 3 with my son when he was 6 years on my Xbox 360. I since then purchased the Xbox One for him and his brother he can teach his younger brother to play at their house. I have Xbox one so we can all play it at my house too.

Having played this remastered version of the game on the XB1 brought back some great memories, especially since I jumped right into co-op mode with a buddy of mine online with whom I had played the original years ago. I must say it brought back all the good feelings associated with playing co-op online back then!

Still a great game, fun cover base shooter. But what really makes this awesome is if you play it before the end of 2015, Microsoft will give you the X-box 360 versions of Gear 2, Gear 3 and Gears Judgement backwards compatible on the X-box One.

Gears of War Ultimate Edition is made for those of us who loved the series from the start. It's gorgeously updated on the Xbox One, but faithfully ported over with all the frustrations intact from its 2006 outing. If you love Gears its worth the trip down memory lane. New players should wait for Gears 3 to be backwards compatible or Gears 4 to be released for a smoother and more modern experience.

Having played the original version on the 360 I was a bit skeptical about this but man it is a great version. It looks fantastic and plays as sharp as ever. I just wish that they did not use the A button for so many things. This is a must buy for those that already played and those playing for the first time.

I have dabbled with the free GoW games from GwG. With the great sale price, I decided to start from the beginning and get into it. Half way through GoWUE and I absolutely love the game. Great characters, story and mood of the game. Cannot wait to play through the series and pickup GoW4 later this year.

Great game. Awesome visuals. I didn't even hesitate on buying this. I loved the first one when I first got my 360 having it fully remastered. I just forgot how quick the campaign was. It probably took me 10 hours on hardcover and about 15 on insane. I don't care for gears online. Because Im not that great. But it has a great campaign and high replay ability to beat it on higher difficulties.
