The graphics are amazing. The game pace is slow and multiplayer was a lot of fun.

I never played the original Gears of War games when I had an Xbox 360, so this collection is an awesome way to play it in remastered form, and also to get all of the other Gears of Wars games backwards compatible is an awesome bonus. This is a lot of fun action, and an incredible value for the money.

When they first announced this game, I thought it would be a money maker and time filler until GOW4. I figured there wouldn't be much thought into it, and flop like Halo MCC. Anyway, this game is phenomenal, the graphics are great the online is smooth. I really enjoy co-op campaign and the online maps.

Just got ahead and buy it, it is totally amazing and a much needed action title for the Xbox One. If this is your first time hearing of GoW this is what made the Xbox 360 a heavy hitter int he game industry if not for noting just a replay out of nostalgia it still holds up today as an amazing game!

Minimal changes to controls. Great looking. If your new to GOW go for it.

The remaster is done excellently. Single player looks great and the multiplayer looks even better. Brings back the feel of old Gears of War. My only complaint is the drop to 30 fps in the campaign versus the smooth 60 fps in multiplayer. It's jarring to switch back and forth. Overall a great game!

This is my first experience with the Gears of War franchise. The game looks great and is a lot of fun to play. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in 3rd person action/adventure games, particularly for individuals who might have missed out when game originally debuted on xbox 360.

I've been a big fan of the series from day one. After picking up the remake for the next gen systems I am definitely impressed by the improvements made to the not only the graphics but the game play as well. Everything seems to run so smooth. This is a must buy for any gears fan looking to relive the glory day of the past gears as this series was a game changer to begin with..

When I first played Gears of War on the Xbox 360 I knew this was a special game that would change the first person genre. Back then the game was fun and exciting and the port over to Xbox One continues that feeling. It feels like playing a whole new game and I cannot wait for Gears 4 next year.

Gears of War has always been one of the best Xbox one exclusives. Fun, fast, and crazy! This one is no different. It is so much fun and the upgraded graphics are very good. If you are a fan of shooters, get this game. And if you are new to the gears franchise, get it! Perfect time to do so

The only reason I even bought an XBOX ONE is for this game series. I am die hard fan of Gears of War and this remastered edition kicks major [gluteous maximus]. The updated graphics feed more than nostalgia it heightens it. I hope they do all three games. Can't wait for Gears of War 4 too!

Many remakes just take the old graphics and slap them into HD mode. The new GOW remake actually was recreated from the ground up in full HD for the Xbox One...and you can tell! This game looks gorgeous! Very nice homage to a game that changed the FPS genre! Love it! Recommend it! BUY IT!!

This game brings back so many great memories from 360. The game plays smooth and there's never a dull moment. in addition to this great game you also get gears 1-4 when they release with backwards capability for free. Finally, you can't beat the price. Overall great deal on a great game!

If you are even a moderate gamer you will love this game. It comes with all of the original four GOW games and the updated version for Xbox One. It is very easy to learn to play. The campaign is 4 player co op which is a plus. This game features levels that were only available on pc.

Looks great but mp is where the meats at and its mostly shotgun fest

If you liked Gears of War when it first came out you'll like it again. It looks great. New cutscenses are really something. The games does show its age a bit in tye mechanic, but nothing major. If for some reason you havent played this and are curious, you should just do it already.

The original Gears of War on Xbox 360 was a classic and the Ultimate Edition just makes it better. If you have yet to get in on the action that the series has to offer, with highly improved visuals, the Ultimate Edition is the definitive way to introduce yourself to the franchise.

Bought this at a very great price when Best Buy had it on sale. Used a BB Rewards certificate, Gamers Club, and only had to come up with a $1. and change. Not a bad deal for a new game with the extras included. Been so focused with Destiny, its difficult to start a new game .

The original Gears of War on Xbox 360 is work of art. Gears of Wars: Ultimate Edition for Xbox One takes the original work of art to the next level with next generation graphics without sacrificing any game play. If you were a fan of the original, you will want this version!

Great pickup for Gears of War fans or those just getting into the series. The graphics are much improved in single-player and multiplayer (60 fps here only) and the gameplay still holds up. There's also some bonus content included with five chapters that were previously PC exclusive. Hard to pass up for only $40 (less if you have Gamers Club Unlocked).
