an old Xbox classic gets a HUGE facelift with the power of Xbox One. Gears of War how it should look and how it should play on a global platform. Can't Wait for Gears of War 4

A fantastic revamp of the first game. I personally never ran into issues with updated version of the first gears, this is a great example on how graphical upgrades should be.

First thing first Gears rocks! In rocked before and now rocks even more now with this remastered version for Xbox One! Get this because you can't go wrong with Gears of War.

Well there's nothing much more to say than if you like the GOW series, this is a no-brainier to pick up; just don't pay full price for it(wait on it when it goes on sale).

Fantastic remaster, and if you play beffore December 31 while connected to LIVE, you'll get a message with codes for all 4 Gears games via Backwards Compatibility. SCORE!!

This once was a great game. Now remastered with some new content. It's nice but feels like a rushed port. Still I would recommend this game. Multiplayer is fun and frustrating like it was before. Good practice for Gears of War 4!

This game is a must buy for any fan of the gears of war series. Game runs amazing at 60fps and with the other gears games on the way. Perfect addition for any collection.

One of the First & One of the Best shooters out there. Love the characters and love the mechanics of the game. It's all the better now that it is Remastered and on XBOX-1

Played this game with my son and we ended up clearing the game. The graphics were amazing on the Xbox One and we had fun switching out the various weapons throughout. The only negative is that I wished it was a longer game.

The game is great and runs flawlessly on the Xbox. My only complaint comes from the lack of features when compared to some of the newer gears games. No horde mode or beast mode is a bit of a let down. Otherwise, a fine product.

I've been waiting for this for a long time. The first Gears of War is by far my favorite of the series. The game play is marvelous and beautifully done. Excellent game.

The graphics have been updated very nicely. I am very impressed! With the Gamer's Club, I was able to purchase Gears for $35 after tax. Hell of a deal, if you ask me.

This game set the bar back in 2006 when it was released on X360. So stoked they remastered it. Gameplay is fluid and smooth while the graphics kick ace. Great game!

Looks amazing, I felt like it was 9 years ago. My only issue is no horde mode added but still great game to own. Plus getting all the 360 games back wards compatible for playing before the end of the year was a great bonus!

If you have ever played the original on the 360, do yourself a favor and play this on the Xbox One. If you have never played the game before, you are in for a treat.

It is great to go back to a 360 classic. It runs even better than it did on the old system and the graphics look amazing. I'm so happy to be back into Gears of War.

The enhanced graphics on the Xbox One is great, and it's fun playing through this one again. I'm looking forward to trying the other 360 versions of the games once the backwards compatibility is updated in the fall (2015).

the original game was the reason I purchased a 360, now it's remastered with extra chapters, how could I pass on this. Absolute must have for your Xbox collection.

I love the shooter Gears of War series for The 360. Now that they have it for the new consoles, its even better. Now I'm just waiting for Gears of War 4 next year.

Classic Gears just with shiny new graphics and new levels added. Just as good now as it was then. Sadly, multiplayer wasn't updated with the Gears 3 improvements.
