Well worth the wait!! Started playing & couldn't stop!!!! This is what my son said. He has friends coming over tonight to play so I'm expecting loud voices & FUN.

Going to be the hawtness, played beta and it looks and plays 10x better then 360 ver.

It is a very fun multiplayer shooter, that any xbox one fan, should have in their library., this review was given from my son, for whom this game was bought for.

This wasn't just a rehash of filters. If you like the original game you'll love this ultimate edition. Great addition to any action fan or gears of war of fan.

Take everything you loved about the first one, add high resolution graphics, a completely new act in campaign and dozens of weapon skins for multiplayer carnage.

Gears was one of my favorite online games and this remastered edition plays so smooth and looks great. No more host advantage as every connection seems perfect.

Improved graphics on the original classic Gears of War game. I always liked the first one the best. Definitely worth getting on the next gen console - XBOX ONE!

This is an amazing remake of the classic game. I've already put many hours into it. It's basically an all new game with great graphics and for half the price.

Remaster of a great 360 title. Not only do you get the original remastered, but you get all the 360 Gears titles as well (if played before the end of 2015).

Great remaster. I played the original and had a blast. The remaster has waayyyyy better graphics, huge attention to detail here. Gets me pumped for gears 4.

Nothing is better than wielding the series unique weapon of a chainsaw gun. All the fun I had with the first three in the series. I can hardly wait for #5.

Absolutely well done remaster of the game, I knew what to expect from gameplay but the overall experience is great seeing this game with modern technology.

If you've played the original Gears of War and liked it, you'll no doubt enjoy this faithful remaster. The updated visuals and extra campaign segments are well done. The one glaring problem here is Dom, your sidekick, in the single player campaign. Dom has the worst AI of any AI sidekick in recent memory, and he can actually impede your progress in the game because he keeps on getting killed, or he won't do his part in a puzzle segment. One full star off for this annoyance.

This game is visually incredible and completely remade. Everything is what it was on the original. I strongly recommend this game for any fans of the series.

The wait is over and Gears has finally arrived on XBOX ONE. I love this series from the Xbox 360 console and it's nice to be able to play with friends again.

If you were a fan of the Gears of War franchise this is a no brainer. It's fun to revisit a game like this. Plus there's better graphics and new stuff added.

Great game, remade all the cut scenes in the new engine, looks absolutely fantastic. Gears is the best Xbox franchise, great to have Gears on the XB One now.
