Great graphics, multiplayer with excellent interaction. I liked that I received the original DLC for free where before you had to pay for it. Like the new parts of campaign mode.

I had this game back when it was on Xbox 360 and it was awesome. The Xbox One version is fantastic with the graphics and new campaign levels. Great campaign and multiplayer.

If you are a fan of the original, this remastered version is perfect for you. Same classic game, now with the Xbox One powering it with updated graphics, sounds. So much fun.

Rebuilt from the ground up with epic details. What's not to love about Gears of War? 3rd person shooter which is a rarer breed of fun games unlike it's overly played out First person shooter counter part. An insanely awesome Sci-Fi Storyline and characters you'll learn to become attached too. Oh and do you have friends? Because the series is built upon playing the entire campaign with friends seamlessly if you'd like. I've done it time and time again and love it. Highly recommended if you are a fan of some good shooting Sci-Fi action that has a compelling storyline. Very dark and gruesome. Just the way I like it!

An amazing game with fantastic characters, graphics, story and gameplay. The bonus content is top-notch and the remastered graphics make you fall in love all over again.

Really fun multiplayer if you put the time into getting good at it. Can be frustrating at times but feels great when you get the hang of it. Awesome campaign of course.

I love this ultimate edition. It looks beautiful and the fps is super smooth. It has the same feeling from when you played it the first time and doesn't feel out dated.

Enjoyed the single player campaign, and just getting into the multiplayer. They did a good job remastering the game (originally released in 2006) for the Xbox One.

Great remaster of the original. The real bonus is all the extra pc content and bonus chapters are included. A huge plus for those who only played the xbox version.

The graphics are greatly improved, the multiplayer is perfected, it's the best package deal. It feels a little dated, but that's to be expected. A great remaster.

Upon hearing about a remaster for Gears of War, I was disappointed to see that the package only contained the first game (after having 5 Halo games contained in the Master Chief Collection, this seemed lacking). I decided to purchase it anyway and am mostly pleased with the result. The graphics are redone to closer fit the Xbox One's capabilities, but still feel not quite up to current standards. The classic gameplay is there, and the nostalgia levels are definitely present. I'm not a huge fan of the shotgun-focused multiplayer, but there are 19 maps and plenty of modes available. To soften the $40 blow, people who purchase the game and play before December get digital copies of all prior Gears games when backwards compatibility turns on. Great deal!

Looks fantastic, smooth gameplay. Multiplayer has the same feel just like it did in gears of war original, not that new call of duty style they did in judgement.

Sorry, couldn't resist the title. This series was great the first time it was released and is even better on the remastery. Utilizing the power of the XBox1 this game is as high powered as your chainsaw assault rifle.

Gears of War is a phenomenal game. It has been remastered for the Xbox One and looks gorgeous. Plus new maps for online multiplayer with team death match added.

Big fan of the Gears of Wars games, had them when it was on Xbox 360, however the upgraded graphics and game improvement makes this a whole new experience.

Always loved the first. Slick 60 fps multiplayer. The main campaign looks great too but is around the original fps. Higher res graphics all around though.

Even though this is just a remake of the original Gears of War, it is still great. With the upgraded graphics and a price tag of $39.99, its a no brainer.

Gears has a great setting and story with characters that are interesting. The atmosphere develops with the story and sets up the trilogy. MP is fun too.
