Needed to clean up my Apple computers and get ready to start back to school. The squad did a great job cleaning up old, unused programs, updated my apps/programs to use in school and moved my pictures off computer. Then they made sure that I knew how to do the new apps and access my pics on hard drive.

My experience at the Ames, IA Best Buy Geek Squad counter was very positive. Kody did an outstanding job at the counter with his commitment to providing great customer service and valuable information on my options. My laptop was fixed and returned ahead of schedule. I purchased this primarily to get the in-home service at a reasonable price and have someone knowledgable coordinate my computers, etc. I have now used the in-home service once and was extremely happy with the results. I used to not bother with this type of service, but I did it get it for my big screen TV. After 18 months the TV went down, and Geek Squad got me a new TV! They just needed to verify that it couldn't be fixed. In today's world Geek Squad is needed for the Smart TV's and computers! Definitely worth it!!

My computer wouldn't even come on. After taking it to Geek Squad I have my computer back. I was afraid I would have to purchase a new computer or iPad but my good buddy is back and it's just like a new computer. Geek Squad was very knowledgeable and helpful. Price was better than I thought it would be.

I was called when the computer was ready. Came in to pick it up about noon on 12-28-2017. I do not remember his name. I picked it up at the window by the chairs, if that helps. He took his time going over the computer with me, even showing me the ports he would use. This was all great, and a big help.

I know very little about computers and have no troubleshooting skills as related to such. After having issues with a laptop, I went to Best Buy and spoke to one of the geek squad reps and was able to leave my devise for repairs. They were prompt and after only one week they had repaired my computer. Computer has had no issues, thanks geek squad!

Bought a new Asus and have had to use the Geek Squad support 2 or 3 times already. The squad members are always cordial, but the first layer of technicians appear to only have cursory knowledge. For the real hard problems, they always hand you off to more experienced personnel. I get it. But all this just adds more time to the solution.

I have only printed items for school, but the quality is great. I have scanned many things as well. I love how many options you have for printing and scanning. I also enjoy using the app while I am on my phone or tablet and can print away from home. This is one of the best features for this printer.

I purchased software for a computer upgrade, as well as used the services of the GeekSquad to fix a computer whose hard drive had become corrupt. The service was super fast and I was kept informed of the progress. The store employee was very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to do business with.

I can't imagine having a computer without tech support. All machines break or need maintenance. The internet is filled with Trojan horses & virus'. So I get geek squad for all of my big purchases. 24/7 is cool because they can do the work without you having to bring the device in the store.

I purchased a "3 year 24/7 support for a computer I was given and the Hector was very patient with me without pushing any additional products or services provided by Best Buy but made sure I had the best products for the support. He also answered and explained questions so I could understand.

I was apprehensive at first because of the cost. My laptop was running very slow and I took it as far as I could. I was going to purchase a new one but then I thought I only use my laptop on trips. So I bit the bullet and let the geek squad work on it. To make a long story short, it's now my main computer.

I love going to Best Buy because no matter what I go in go, whether it's just questions about a product or to purchase something, I don't believe I've ever had poor service. Everyone is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. And if they don't know something they aren't afraid to find out for me.

Had a few issues with my new computer due to my lack of computer knowledge. It was so refreshing and easy when you called Geek Squad for assistance. You could understand them on the phone and were very patient, knowledgeable and professional while assisting me. Highly recommend this service

I have been very greatful for the Geek Squad knowlege. I've had this coverage for a long time, and I really appreciate that they can service a desktop on line. They have helped me a couple times that was so impressive. They know their stuff. And they are very kind and responsive to questions.

Don't know what I would do without the Geek Squad! I had a couple of issues with accessing old files that were installed onto my new computer from my old one. The Geek Squad directed me through the steps and within minutes I had access to my extensive research files. Thank you Geek Squad!

After hearing about our problem, the Geek Squad person explained in detail what would fix the problem. All our questions were answered so we could understand. The suggested solution did in fact fix our laptop. It was ready the next day. We are so happy, as we always are with Best Buy !!!
