My experience with Best Buy's Geek Squad services have been good.

Great and knowledgeable support staff, with the right know how

good support and explanations provided, made me very comfortable

got my fingers crossed that they will be helpful if any problems

I had a problem with my laptop (Sony Vaio) and Sony states to get it repaired at Best Buy. I wish i had not purchased the extended warrantee because I had to take it to Micro Center to get fixed. Also I am unsure of the qualifications for the Geek Squad personnel. Weigh your options.

Good to have in the middle of the night if you have an issue.

The geeks squad is knowledgeable, but you have to get to the store early and set an appointment first to see them. Some times they try to up sell you things or services you may not need. Get an appointment in the middle of the week when they have time to really talk and help.
