    Not completely impressed. Computer still not 100%. Have taken it in to use Geek Squad twice and was charged twice to have info backed up. Was told by employee that "he would not have purchased the laptop I have..." Not helpful and his opinion on my purchase from two years prior was not asked for. He was not helpful or useful with telling me what was wrong and when I pointed out they did the same "fix" twice in 6 weeks, he said I should just buy a new laptop. Maybe my expectations of Geek Squad are too high. I could have had a kid on the street troubleshoot for less hassle. My business when I do purchase a new laptop is likely not to be with Best Buy.

    My wife actually chose the product. She says it's ample for our usage pattern. If we expected to use it more frequently, we would have likely spent more - in the hope that a higher price would have delivered a superior product. Who knows?

    The in store geek squad has been excellent. The online geek squad stinks. They have no idea what they are doing. The wait time is about 45 minutes to get someone who can't help before waiting another 30 minutes for someone who might.

    we wwere told my computer was fine.brought it home and it wasn't. Then was told something different and ended up being a big waste of my time and down a computer

    Good service once talked to the right guy. Drove 75 miles and then once I got back home called and said they needed the power cord for old computer. I had offered to leave it when I was there but was told they did not need it.

    I brought 3 computer in to be checked all were working. Was told 11am Monday they would be ready.Showed up Monday at 10:45, only one geek was working 3 customers at counter for service. Was told my computer's were not ready. Was given my tablet back saying I didn't need webroot. Was given another appointment two days later 10:30. Showed up only to be told hard drive quit. Told them to put new one in. Was given my tablet back and another appointment. When I came back 2days was told Vista had quit and would cost to much to fix. Bought a new Dell 3000 and another appointment. Told them I needed to have aol browser installed. Picked up at my appointment 2 days later took home and plugged in aol won,t work. 5 trips 10 emails from Best buy not corisponding to the condition of my computer's still no aol.

    Service is 1st come 1st serve as it should be. Wish they would hire more people to decrease turnaround time. Otherwise very helpful, answered all questions, and didn't let anyone interrupt while wauting on me.

    Service work included removing web virus. I asked to buy software to fix it. Software would been enough but Geek Squad talked me into having them do the work. I could have done it myself as I always have done in the past.

    Make sure that you fully understand what Geek Squad protection is offering you. My wife's hard drive went bad and I went to Geek Squad and they sold me the multi-year protection service plan which does cover adding hardware components to the computer. My problem was that I had a DELL that the hinge was damaged and they told me that type of repair was not covered. The only good thing was that they returned the portion of the warranty I did not use.

      We offer a range of Geek Squad Protection Plans, some of which cover physical damage, and some of which do not. Our sales time will be happy to go over the coverage each plan offers when you are making the purchase. We apologize that the plan you purchased didn't have quite the coverage you were expecting.

    Only had one problem, they were supposed to put Webroot on my computer and didn’t. Had to call Webroot and have them install it. But i had to pay them to do it then wait for a refund on my original purchase

    Brought my laptop in for repair. It was more costly than I expected. It works ok, but I almost could buy a new one for the cost to fix mine. Also the Geeks installed Windows 10 on it. Not thrilled with that.

    Used support when mouse quit working, but agent could not help on line. Finally figured out what to do when top cover fell off mouse. Felt we may have been over sold on program but will wait and see.

    Purchased to get rid of virus/trojan but a full system wipe was deemed necessary. May not be able to reload all of the software that was purchased over the years as codes are not available.

    it really was just a bit more to get the geek squad 24/7 support for 3 pcs over just the one that i brought in that needed work done on it. so i went ahead and got the 3 unit/1 year support.

    The tech who assisted me was helpful and knowledgeable but best buy should hire more. The wait was long even though I had an appointment. Would have given more stars if not for the wait time

    I haven’t used this yet and have never had it. When I bought this they we great at explaining everything in detail and listened to my ques regarding this plan. Hope it was worth it.

    Computer was still very slow and sluggish after the service. Lot of items and error messages still came up. It was only slightly better after turning the computer in for service.

    Had to get a new hard drive so I got 1 year of Geek squad help. First call to help with loading my email account and the guy had no idea what he was doing. I finally googled it and did it myself... The guy wasted an hour of my time and then said I had to call Verizon for help. All that was needed was pop and stmp servers. I dont know what that is but followed instructions from google and it works... Thanks Geek squad.

    Had an antivirus installed and when I got the product home the computer got a virus from a sweepstakes I was entering and had to spend 400.00 dollars to have it taken out
