I recommend this add on if you do not have any other contacts that are able to assist you with your device needs. I did purchase for 2 consecutive years but only utilized once due to the restrictions of what was only included in Geek Squad services. The one time I did utilize the service, the technicians were not able to fix the issue and I lost all saved content on drives because they ended up restoring to factory, but did not call (as was noted) to allow for full backup should this step be necessary.

I would recommend getting this for all your electronic purchases. Just never know when you’ll need it. Great service and knowledgeable staff
