Mac computers were my favorites back in the 1980s, but my job led me to PCs for the next 40 years. The Mac Neo tempted me to return, but then I discovered the world of refurbished Macs and the 2020 MacBook Air M1 in particular. I found one on Best Buys website for a good price (especially given the RAM price craziness going on now) and after much research comparing the Air M1 to the Neo, I made a purchase. My used 2020 MacBook Air M1 is in pristine condition, not a mark, with excellent battery life remaining. Its very snappy running apps, hard to believe for a six year old computer, so Im enjoying rejoining the Mac world. I still have my army of PC machines, but if you want to try a Mac, I'd highly reccommend getting a used M1 Air.

Arrived in great condition - no sign of heavy use and low battery cycles (<50). If you're pondering whether to go with the "old" M1 and if 8GB ram is enough, I'm happy to report that this package handles ~20ish Chrome tabs, some light scripting in Python/shell, and some streaming (Spotify/YouTube in the background) really well. The memory pressure and the CPU load stays pretty low and I have not noticed any lag. I did some photo editing and it handled that with minimal effort as well. All this while also rendering an external UWQHD display (3440x1440)! The growing theme with this laptop is that it's much faster, snappier/effortless, with much longer battery life than my past one. For reference, my last laptop was a 2017 MacBook Pro with an i7, 16GB RAM, and a dedicated graphics card. I highly recommend it! It is great, and doubly so at this price point.

Works great. It came packaged very secure. the charger is a brand new charger. the screen works amazing as well as all of the buttons. the only thing that is “messed up” is the anti glare screen, and it’s just a few small marks where it got messed up. there are a few dings and scratches but nothing deep and noticeable that i couldn’t just blame on myself! It was an amazing price and it’s an amazing computer for being refurbished

Overall pretty happy. Had a couple dents and dings on the corners and a few sticker residue on it . So far, battery life is good. Took 3 weeks to get it when the first one was lost in transit. Definitely a rose gold color, good memory, no issues with start up or program glitches. Definitely worth the money.

The deal is just perfect. There is no visible damage and the battery life is almost full.

Bought it as a gift, still holds up nice in 2026, great screen, runs everything smoothly and some basic games work on it well aswell ( minecraft, roblox, etc )

I was hesitant about buying a refurbished laptop but pleasantly surprised. The laptop came to me in perfect condition, if it does have any scratches they are not visible. The most concerning thing to me was the battery. Especially since it is an almost 5 year old model, those concerns were unfounded. I used it for about 4 hours the day I got it and then used it almost the entire day after and I still didn't have to plug it in. I am actually typing this review on 1% battery and it still hasn't died. I love it and am very happy with this purchase!

The MacBook M1 air was such a significant upgrade from the Intel based macs. Battery life on this machine is fantastic. Such a powerful laptop for a low price!

Absolutely love it! This was my first MacBook I have ever owned and I have no complaints, battery life is perfect! It lasts a long time! It came in perfect condition no big scratches or anything like that, that I noticed anyway! Would definitely recommend!

This used device acts and looks brand new and I appreciate that. I received it quickly , and had absolutely no issues setting up and personalizing to my liking. It’s a Mac. Always works out of the box. Processor is lightening fast. Wish I had more memory but that’s an easy work around

Good condition considering it being used, just a few scratches in the chassis, works great for productivity and the screen is very clear and bright.

It was amazing!! I use it for college, and it came in perfect condition! It came without the Apple box, but I will say that it was very well packaged, and the Mac Book runs amazingly, you can even play video games on it or use it for work/school! Highly Recommend! You may have to wait until it comes back in stock, so just keep an eye out! (happens within seconds)

Great MacBook, had a small dent and scratch but I purchased a nice MacBook cover. Very fast and clean display

At first it came with problems with glitching on the Google Chrome Browser, but after redownloading it every runs very smoothly. This is a steal! it came very clean and ready to work just like new. Its good for a highschooler who is looking to have a long lasting computer.

I got the last one of these in stock Especially for the price, this refurbished M1 chip Mac Air has been really good so far. The rose gold color is gorgeous. With the M1 the speed is fast, the depth of color is great and the sound is really good with the dual speakers on either side of the keyboard. The external case only had 1 scratch on the back - other than that Im super happy with every aspect of it. Its also very light - lighter than the 2024 version - Check out reviews of the M1 chip - overall its better than the M2 - I dont know about later versions but I really feel like I did well here. Super enjoying my Mac Air!

It's been a month+ only. So far good the computer is working fine, smooth, no issue is battery life.

The front and back of the device looked like new! The only thing was that there were a lot of scratches inside the hinge of the computer and a few very small, hardly noticeable scratches on the screen. Other than that the device was in great shape!
