Amazing system! Awesome deal! Shopping with Best Buy!

I did read the reviews before ordering but I thought since there were only a couple, maybe it was just coincidence that they were bad. I am not sure who is doing the refurbishing for Bestbuy but they should be ashamed of what they are selling. If this is in house, they should fire them all and completely revamp that department. First the packaging was as bad as others have pointed out. Completely unacceptable for a big company. Second, the system was filthy, as someone else had pointed out in another review. I have ordered tons of refurbished or renewed products. Never once have I received someone that looked as bad as this. Especially since a lot of this could have been cleaned up and is what I would expect apart of the standard refurbishing process to be. Lastly, the unit didn't even work. The system would come and try to start loading and then restart. Occasionally it would make it to the language screen, and then restart. This tells me that the unit wasn't even tested, because you would obviously see that it was not working if it was. Bestbuy should be embarrassed by what they are sending customers. This is unacceptable by any standards. Sadly as a member and cardholder, after this experience, I will not buy another refurbished or renewed item from them.

So my feelings are very mixed on this purchase, or purchases. It took ordering 2 consoles to get the correct item. The 1st console that arrived was a standard Ps5 without a stand. It was packed horribly and was extremely dirty and scratched up. It did work though, so I used it until I could order a replacement. Which was currently out of stock at the time. Fast forward a week and a half later, I was able to order another refurbed console. Luckily this time a Ps5 slim showed up, a bit better packed but with a pretty big hole on the side of the box. Fortunately, the console was fine and was also surprisingly clean. There is a pretty nice sized mark on one of the top plates, but its no big deal. The only real downside on the second order is the stand. I was sent the original Ps5 base, not the little plastic feet that go to the slim model. I've made it work and I'm happy with the purchase. I just wish Bestbuy did a better job of quality control on their refurbished products.

I like the console but one thing hated about it was how they got the console wrong and took me about 7 days to get the right one.When the right one finally came,not gonna lie it looked good and works really good. It a recommend for not spending much and have a great console but,pray that they get your order right or that is 7+days waiting for your dream console and probably even more stress then I encounted.

The PS5 works as it should. The controller works fine, but only lasts around 45 minutes between charges. I was very disappointed in how the unit was shipped. It was loose in the box that it was in, no packing material at all. It had shifted around enough in shipping that two the plates had come off it and were loose in the box.

It was missing a part vertical stand I when I called they return it for a another one so I had to go out and buy a stand for it

If I could give this zero stars I would. I purchased the 1 TB system with disc player and 5 games. First they sent me the digital only system with absolutely nothing other than the cables and controller ( no instruction manuals, nothing). Then they have me return the wrong unit and told me the correct one would be sent out to me. They picked up the wrong unit and then canceled the replacement order and then froze my return money. They made me contact their "Law Enforcement Department" and explain the whole situation all over again in order to get my money back . That department never even contacted me to acknowledge that they had received anything from me and I had to check my account every day to see if I was credited so I could go and get another unit. The incompetence and lack of customer care is mind boggling.

It has worked flawlessly. The outside was not in the best shape but it is a used console. Overall I am very pleased.

A bit dirty but other than that it works great and is in great condition. They even included a brand new USB-C and HDMI cable instead of used ones which is a plus.

Well it arrived. It was the standard PS5 model, not the slim. It was dirty too. If you're going to sell refurbished, then you need to actually refurbish the item. I hope this lasts. We'll see.

Don’t be fooled, console looked normal from the outside, just minor signs of usage-barely noticable. But… So it says “geek squad certified” what a joke. Came “toasted” obviosly is was overheated (green spots on the screen, poor sharpness, all games crashed within 10/15min) - get a open box one, works as it should.

Wasn’t what I ordered. I received a regular PS5 but not what I originally ordered which was a PS5 Slim.

Product works well but the controller quickly gained stick drift.

I am so frustrated. I ordered the Playstation disc version and received a shabby looking dirty Playstation digital version that isn't even the same color as the one pictured. How can a professional business mess up an order this badly? I had to explain to my son on Christmas morning when he opened the massive box that the game system was moving around in, that we have to return the system in exchange for another one that is what I actually ordered. I only hope they don't give me any problems when we go to return this old and abused looking thing. It was all Best Buy's fault. Even the image in the order clearly shows a disc console as opposed to what I actually received. Por transaction all around. Extremely disappointed, especially on Christmas day.

The controller broke in the first month of having it!

I got the standard PS5 disk instead of the slim disc the first time I bought it. I returned and bought another, guess what I got: another standard PS5 disc.

The refurbished ps5 I bought had hundreds of scratches on it plus the controller was dirty and full of stains and had scratches also a button did not work

Bad controller and console did have some issues, I ended up returning the console . Poor communication don’t waste your time and money just get a new one
