Eclectic Mix of Rock and Pop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gene Simmons' KISS solo album is a mix of rock and pop and includes a take on a Disney Classic. While Paul Stanley's is the most consistent and Ace Frehley's rocks the hardest, Gene's solo effort mixes Beatlesque pop with stabs at hard rock. The single Radioactive being the best mix of both genres. I'm a big KISS fan, and this album falls in between Rock n' Roll Over and Unmasked, in terms of the musical landscape. I like the album, but it's not the best of solo albums.
