Being able to play games I grew up with is great and in such a small console. It doesn’t take up much room and outputs excellent quality.

I don't know what people were mad about with these mini consoles, but I think they are fun. I agree that this should have had a six button controller if they were including games that actually need one, kind of dumb but whatever. I own these games on Steam for the most part, so I didn't care if I couldn't play Street Fighter on this. For something easy to take to a friends, this is pretty good. Or a minimalist setup, without carts to manage. It is a shame those Game Gear minis are so ridiculous, basically leaves this as the only cool throwback Sega seems to have done any time recently. AtGames did trash with their releases, and compilation releases are not super magical in any way. This is a fun little art piece that can plug in and play some of its games. Or a toy for your kids, whatever.

Brings back alot of memories of me growing up in the 90's. Love that they brought this mini out. Bunch of games. Well worth it

I purchased this system to have access to old Sega games already on the unit. I have the original Sega system with all the cartridges but wanted something more compact. It is a shame more games can't be added to it, however it is still a lot of fun.

Been a Sega Genesis fan all my life this was a must get for me. Its an awesome mini console and great addition to the collection.

I haven't yet played all of the games, but everything on it so far has met expectations. The real thing is much better than 3rd party Genesis clones.

Many awesome games on this tiny console. If you use google you can even find a way to add more games and make you experience even better.

This mini version of Genesis is a lot of fun and well made, it's close behind the super Nintendo classic and definitely a step in the right direction.

I really enjoy the classic consoles and the Genesis over delivers. All the major hits are here and they are just as fun today to play as I remember

All the great classic games in one spot. Sonic alone makes this worth it for me. If that's not your cup of tea, there's plenty of other good games.

A great collector's item and good for anyone wanting to take a nostalgic trip through some of the best in the sega vs nintendo era.

The throwback of Sega Genesis games are awesome! Reminds me when i was a kid. The only thing i was surprised of was the lack of 6 button controllers but I guess that is being picky. Overall this system has lots of detail and great games for the price!

Great game selection, performance, and feel of the console. I have them all and this is my favorite along with the NES and SNES minis. Pick one up.

I am a big fan of the original Genesis. Having the mini version is just like having the original with all the same fun games i used to play.

It is fantastic that after all the third party company releases of plug-in-play consoles that SEGA has come out with their SEGA Genesis Mini Console. Obviously a response to Nintendo’s line of Classic consoles, it is a great concept on paper. However, some amazing games are missing like Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 3, Ristar, Streets of Rage 3, Shining Force 2 and especially Quackshot: Starring Donald Duck a game that was featured on Sega Channel back in the day and even with Disney approving games like Castle if Illusion and World Of Illusion, it is sad Quackshot didn’t make the cut, this is just to name a few titles are missing from this Collection. With titles missing like these, while this genesis package is amazing, most likely you will feel obligated/tempted to modify/hack your system to add them, which surely voids warranty.
