This re-release of the original Sega Genesis delivers as advertised. The look, feel, and playability of the system is an exact recreation of the original. The only negative about it is that it doesn't have any of the old EA sports games like NHL Hockey where the guys' heads bleed when they get injured.

Amazing mini console with the best games of Sega..

The Genesis mini is pretty great. It has some glaring game omissions (Sonic 3 and Knuckles and the Genesis sports games), but what's here is a great sampling from the Genesis era and gives some lesser known gems a chance to really shine with a new audience or older fans who just missed them the first time around.

Having grown up at the time of NES and Genesis, I love the fact that those companies released mini classic consoles. As with the nes and snes mini consoles, the Genesis is awesome. Yes you can just buy a pi and put games on it but I love the plug and play with theses consoles. Thanks for bringing back the good times!

Same gaming fun as before Al invented the internet. Good selection of games for the young and the young at heart. Fun!

Fun little console. I was more of Nintendo fan growing up. But I do enjoy the Sega mini. Not bad for the price.

I was more of a Nintendo kid than a sega kid growing up, but this little unit allowed me to relive a past long forgotten. Unlike games today, games of the past promoted critical thinking skills and problem solving. Let’s face it, if kids today are okay with graphics on roblox and Minecraft, this will suffice.

There are many great games to select from. I do wish the manufacturer chose to incorporate wireless remotes though.

The Sega Genesis mini is perfect. I wanted two play of the Role playing games(phantasy star, shining force). The device provides 4 save slots per game. I was able to stop and pick up where I left off. I recommend for the old school/retro gamer. The controllers cords are short and may need extension cords. This is due to all mini consoles still need to push the reset or power button to function. No Bluetooth or Inferred.

Very nice throwback version on the genesis. Worth the retail price as much and any of the other retro consoles.

i got this when the price went down to $35. Not bad to relive the glory days of 16 bit gaming and play Sonic.

If you grew up with a Genesis or want to play these game for the first time, you need to get one.

This was a great purchase. I turned it on and the music started and I felt like I just walked back in time and it was wonderful. You just plug it in and play. Great fun for the kids to see what we played years ago and we can hold our own against todays game players, lol.

The most AWESOME system since the original!! This system kicks ash!! The games play exactly the same as back in the 90s, and if you switch the language over to Japanese, the box art changes. They only thing that could be better would be a cordless controller since we did not have 65" TVs in the 90s.

Lots of fun and nostalgia here, some excellent game selections for sure. Missing gun star heroes though.

Great gaming system, small and plays just like the original.

Don't be fooled by the knock off versions of this that have been out for a couple of years. This is the Sega 30th anniversary authentic mini console. Very retro look and feel. There is some lag time between controller and action on screen, but this to be expected.

Could have better games but having sonic, megamen, golden axe, and streets of rage 2 was pretty cool.

Great games from Sega. Brings me back to my younger days. Fun for the whole family. Glad i made the purchase.

This was a great game for my grandchildren. It also brought lots of memories back for me! The only bad thing about the game, is getting back To the main menu to change games. We finally figured it out, but it was a little difficult. Other than that, it’s an awesome video game system!
