    i haven't played the vanilla version so this is fresh to me. like others said, it's AC in Japanese settings, but there are more action and less stealth. i'm 30hours just finished Act 1, so i'm guessing the game will last me 60-80 hours of pure entertainment. the game makes me want to learn Japanese.

    This game alone is a masterpiece and the directors cut adds way more. A whole nee region which adds on an additional 8-10 hours of gameplay on top of the main game of 25-30 hours. Plus the legends multiplayer is such a nice extra treat. This is worth the $60 hands down.
