First off, the story of this game is top notch. Your character is a samurai who barely makes it out of a war with his life. You travel the countryside to save your uncle, who was captured during the battle. The battle system is pretty typical. You start off with a few basic moves and SLOWLY upgrade your skills to become a more deadly samurai. One major downside of it is focusing on an enemy. It came easy during the tutorial, but didn't seem to work very well after that. The same thing happened with "standoffs" where you challenge your opponent to a 1 on 1 battle. You hit the triangle button and release it at just the right time for a one hit kill. I did very well the first few times the game gave prompts. After that, I ALWAYS lost to the point where I won't engage in a standoff to literally save my life. Sad. The parallels to Assassin's creed are strong. Hide in bushes, take out enemies one at a time, go from town to town completing missions. It's not as new and inventive as the creators would like to make you think. The visuals alone make this game worth a try. I have a feeling I'll eventually grow tired of the complicated battle system and give up when I can no longer defeat stronger enemies. Until that point. I'll bask in the vast storytelling this game has to offer.

Great game I got almost forty hours in the first week.

Honestly one of my favorite games ever made. Won’t be a waste of time. Plenty of things to do in the game.

The game is good not great. It's an unpolished gem. Story is functional although simple and shallow. Gameplay is fun but it has some noticeable weak points. Graphics are awesome sometimes and awful in others. Overall an impressive new ip well worth playing and an step forward for sucker punch.

I played Ghost when it came out on PS4 last summer. Great game, beautiful graphics and landscapes, one of my favorites from the last generation of consoles. I finally got my hands on a PS5 (not at Best Buy unfortunately) and the director's cut came with the bundle. I wasn't super excited at first tbh, but the refresh looks even more gorgeous and in 60 frames per second. The Dualsense adds another layer of immersion as well thanks to the adaptive triggers and upgraded haptics. Worth buying, whether you played the PS4 version or not!

I started this game out on my PS4 then finished it when i got my PS5 lots of action crazy graphics and great main storyline

I got this game on Sept 10 for my birthday and im still playing til this day this is the best samurai assasin creed game its has soo many hours of great content , story and the scenery is beautiful on the PS5 this is the truly the best PS5 game out there !!!

Just play this game. You thin you were in a movie. Got the platinum trophy and you dont have find every little thing. Play with English sub. It will have you hooked
