I'll start by saying this was a double-dip from a PS4 version, which ran beautifully and I didn't think much could be improved upon. However, the graphic upscaling and refresh rate changes on PS5 really enhance this game to the next level. As an added bonus you get bonus add on content and the additional DLC for Iki island. You can upgrade your base game separately if you purchased the base game, and cross play from PS4 to PS5, so you can probably save some cash and upgrade your existing game if you purchased the game day one. Overall this game offers plenty in the base game, I haven't even scratched the DLC surface, it's easy to hop in and explore for several hours and admire the boosted graphics and scenery.

Beautiful game, with smooth gameplay, and the storyline is highly addictive. The game is also partially set based on historical facts for those history nerds out there. I highly recommend it and I am enjoying it at the moment.

Game was okay but not that great but fight system is pretty cool.

For someone who no longer plays video games much often, this had me hooked. Instantly logged in over 60 hrs in a matter of weeks. Awesome gameplay and storyline.

This game is absolutely incredible. I’ve been gaming for a while and I gotta say this is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. The story is amazing, graphics are absolutely stunning, and the gameplay is a ton of fun. Sucks I’m so late to playing this. After playing Horizon Forbidden West, another incredible game, I gotta say I’d pick Ghost of Tsushima over it. If this game were $100, I’d get it. Luckily, it’s been $30 which is one of the best deals ever.

Awesome game! I love the story and it looks great on the PS5. I played it on the PS4 and it is just as good a second time around.

Great game! Been playing this non stop since I got it. I love this edition since it came with some add ones in the game with a horse, and samurai armor. Received this game pretty quickly once I order it as well.

I bought this for my son for his birthday. He already completed the game and now I have to purchase the second one. I have no complaints.

The game has great graphics. I love that it's open world and that you can complete the game your way. You can go where you want to go before completing the main storyline.

I LOVE this game. 80 hours in and I can say I have finished most of the tasks. DLC is amazing and included with the Director's Cut. Combat is great and immersive, as well as challenging if you play on hardest difficulty as you can die with one hit. BEAUTIFUL game in every aspect. The art direction and environment are breathtaking, and I found myself stopping so often just to admire the beauty of the game. Great game to play if you have an 4k HDR tv. On OLED it looks even better.

Stunning graphics, compelling story line. This is the first time I’ve played this game. I bought it based on a friends recommendation and loving it so far. The graphics are stunning, gameplay is smooth. Glad I purchased it.

I am not usually a fan of open world games, but this one is just incredible. There was not a moment throughout my entire playthrough where I was bored or wished I could speed things up. Each solo dual was just amazing and each mission felt perfectly balanced between length and difficulty. On top of all that, the story was deep and very well thought out. It was as if I was playing an open world The Last of Us it was so well written. Excellent game, a must play!

This is an amazing open-world game based in Feudal Japan. The story is amazing, and the battle system is great. It has a blend of stealth attacks, as well as going into head to head battles. This is a must play for anyone that loves exploring maps and doing lots of side quests.

Truly a masterpiece of a game that everyone should experience. Gorgeous visuals, fluid combat, and such a great story. Don’t walk, run to play this.

This exciting game captures memorable events at every turn. It’s been so long to find a great game to play with an incredible story! And playing it on the PlayStation 5 the graphics are just astonishing. I’d definitely recommend it.

“When I was little, my father was famous. He was the greatest Samurai in the empire, and he was the Shogun’s decapitator. He cut off the heads of 131 lords, for the Shogun. It was a bad time for the empire. The Shogun just stayed inside his castle and he never came out. People said his brain was infected by devils, and that he is rotting with evil. The Shogun said the people were not loyal. He said he had a lot of enemies, but he killed more people than that. It was a bad time. Everybody living in fear, but still we were happy. My father would come home to mother, and when he had see her, he would forget about the killings. He wasn’t scared of the Shogun, but the Shogun was scared of him. Maybe that was the problem. That night, mother would sing for us, while father would go into his temple and pray for peace. He had prayed for things to get better. Then, one night the Shogun sent his ninja spies to our house. They were supposed to kill my father, but they didn’t. That was the night everything changed, forever. That was when my father left his samurai life and became a demon. He became an assassin, he walks the road of vengeance. And he took me with him. I don’t remember most of this myself. I only remember the Shogun’s ninja hunted us wherever we go. And the bodies falling. And the blood.”
