“When I was little, my father was famous. He was the greatest Samurai in the empire, and he was the Shogun’s decapitator. He cut off the heads of 131 lords, for the Shogun. It was a bad time for the empire. The Shogun just stayed inside his castle and he never came out. People said his brain was infected by devils, and that he is rotting with evil. The Shogun said the people were not loyal. He said he had a lot of enemies, but he killed more people than that. It was a bad time. Everybody living in fear, but still we were happy. My father would come home to mother, and when he had see her, he would forget about the killings. He wasn’t scared of the Shogun, but the Shogun was scared of him. Maybe that was the problem. That night, mother would sing for us, while father would go into his temple and pray for peace. He had prayed for things to get better. Then, one night the Shogun sent his ninja spies to our house. They were supposed to kill my father, but they didn’t. That was the night everything changed, forever. That was when my father left his samurai life and became a demon. He became an assassin, he walks the road of vengeance. And he took me with him. I don’t remember most of this myself. I only remember the Shogun’s ninja hunted us wherever we go. And the bodies falling. And the blood.”

Ghosts is one of the best games I've played recently. Graphics, sure, this game kills it. Amazing and stunning visuals. You can even play there game in Japanese-Cinema mode where its grainy/black and white like old school samurai movies. The gameplay is also incredible. Especially the multiplayers. Single player is realistic and gritty - multiplayer is mythological and badass. ,You can't go wrong with this games. Also, the base game is huge - like 40+ hours - and this includes the single player expansion as well. So worth the money. I haven't enjoyed or have been this enthusiastic about a 'new' game in a very long time!

This game is so amazing, the combat is super satisfying and fun, the story is good aswell. I can’t wait for Ghost of Yotei so I can get more.

Still playing it, but awed by the great graphics and the good story. Be prepared to be immersed. I got it on sale and had store credit, do got it at a great deal.

Excellent story and graphics. Really great audio with 3d sound. Loved every minute. The directors cut is way better than original. Using ps5 headset and it sounds amazing

A must play game. Extremely captivating story and challenging mechanics keep the game feeling fresh. My only complaint is sometimes the game can feel a bit repetitive. However there is so much to do and explore.

Amazing game, one of the best experiences I could have, the story is amazing and the gameplay too, the graphics are worthy of a new generation. So glad they updated to ps5

Beautiful story and the PS5 version seems sharper with better response than the PS4 version. I ended up purchasing this on sale even though I already had the PSP4 version. Would highly recommend for fans

Overall gameplay is amazing. Reminds me of Assassin’s Creed and Middle Earth Shadow of War. I would recommend if you are seeking a game that is both challenging and fun.

Great game. It’s a pretty big game, lots of cut scenes but I loved it. I’m glad I got to experience it on the PS5. Good for suckerpunch on making the directors cut. Shows how much they care about their product.

I’m so glad they released a directors cut version of this and on the ps5. One of my better game purchases for sure. This game looks amazing on the ps5, feels amazing, and the story is super cool.
