Refined, gorgeous open-world samurai fun!

The thought and effort put into every detail of this game is astonishing. It's even better on PS5! The only nick-picky criticism I have is that the main combat gameplay loop is slightly repetitive. Same enemies, same-ish base layout, same strategies. Good thing the combat is feels really good and is great fun. Bravo, Sucker Punch Productions!

A flawed but good game

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The story is interesting and the combat is decent if a bit simple, but during combat not being able to lock on is a bit of a pain. I couldn't find any way to lock on to an enemies which for group battles is alright so that I can see the hammer coming from behind me, but in a one on one boss fight in witch both characters can perform moves that dash forward the time it takes for the camera to spin leaves me open for longer then I like. It also doesn't like to tell you things. It said follow the wind to my destination, but it didn't tell me how to make the wind gust to see it easier. Last point. I'm fine with qte in some cases I really like them but the bamboo is a little frustrating. I am glad that I can try as many times as I want and the resolve as a reward is definitely worth it.

Graphics are amazing, and the story is super cool. Love the open world style, and the fighting mechanics. Don’t hesitate to get this game
