Pros: Games look amazing at 100+FPS(with my new 3070!) The ultra wide is amazing for games obviously, but the extra screen space for multitasking is amazing too. Very nice display for the price.
Cons: cheap plastic stand wobbles. The single ‘joystick’ UI is annoying until you get used to it. The ports face down, so if you lower the adjustable screen, the cables have a sharp bend. The speakers are terrible(but no one will use them)
I paid $75 extra for a 4 year full replacement no deductible warranty. If you want some peace of mind.

This monitor is perfect at this price point. Picture is nice, and So far everything has worked great, using G-Sync works too with my GTX 1080ti. No reported issues I've read about online for my monitor. It did take me sometime to get the settings in Nvidia control panel to make my games looks fast and smooth.
Now I came from 1440p 144hz TN Dell monitor With NATIVE G-Sync module built in. So at first this monitor fell really slow and blurry during fast movement. But like I mentioned after messing with settings for a while I got it where is Much better. It's not as quick and smooth as the Dell one I had But it's still 144hz and looks alot better overall due to it being VA panel. So for this price I'm not complaining and enjoy gaming on since the certified G-Sync ultrawide monitors cost few hundred more dollars. So for those that are coming from 60hz or 1080p monitors without FreeSync, this for sure will be Really nice upgrade. I know at this time it been sold out, but if you find it somewhere else for similar price, I'd recommend it.
Unfortunately mine did come with a chipped foot on the bottom of the stand. I will not dock a star off due to this since it can probably be super glued back on and plus I got it at even lower price at $359. That being said I am considering returning it and just getting the more expensive LG ultragear ultrawide monitor, I haven't decided just yet.
In the end this will be a great upgrade for most people, for me the trade off is with the lower response but better image and color (HDR also was nice but nothing mind blowing but not terrible in my opinion, it did looked good in Destiny 2 gameplay), and the size upgrade from my Dell going from 27" 16:9 to this 34" 21:9.

Okay, I have to admit, I thought I wasn't getting a good deal on this monitor, I was completely wrong! I tried the 49 inch I liked it but it was taking too much space on my desk ( my desk is not tiny just too much) plus, I couldn't see my Miku FIGMAS and I need to feel loved by them. anyway. Seeing that they were VA panels I thought it would be crap quality. I had 2 27 inch 2k displays but found the borders ANNOYING so, I ordered the Samsung 49 inch... no thank you ( remember too big ?) I decided that maybe a 38 inch is the sweet spot and I was like yes that might do it! I DID NOT WANT A FLAT PANEL NO WAY. The least expensive was a 2k for 900$ from LG and I was like uh uh ... MOVING ON. So, than I saw this . for 399 I was like I can live with a va a panel ( did some research) I was like not bad I can live with this! I thought that my 2 27 inch monitors I had were IPS and I was like I'm down-grading ( so ill live with it because I LOVED IPS so I thought) UNTIL I read the full specs and it turns out IPS can only run at 60 FPS ... and my 2 monitors were at 144 FPS SO guess what ? I HAD VA PANELS THIS WHOEL TIME! I was sold, I just got my monitor and I was not going to pay almost double for a 1080 49 inch monitor and this has speakers for just light listening. I LOVE IT. a little tweaking and it looks great! I play genishin impact A TON ( I like the grind what can I say ). ALL and all, it's a perfect size fits my needs for work ( at home and play). I like that it had dp ports. looks smooth and ghosting love that I can make custom settings for my wants/needs in terms of screen will insert photos GREAT JOB WITH MAKING THIS MONITOR AFFORABLE & AMAZING QUALITY GIGABYTE!

The GIGABYTE - 34" LED UltraWide WQHD is hands down the best monitor I have owned and had been looking for when it comes to the ultrawide category. Everything from the size, to the 144hz refresh rate and the higher 1440 resolution, oh this monitor has everything. After months of looking I purchased this one as soon as I saw it and have had no regrets. The only gripe I would have had is that the mount sticks out far onto a desk but I wall mounted this monitor with the supported VESA holes on the back. I picked it up for $440 on a 10 off sale and I think its completely deserving of the 450 tag. Monitor powered by i7-9700k and 3060ti plays a majority of games at 144fps highest settings.

I came from a 1080p Asus 144 hertz monitor. so this natural bump in resolution along with 144 hertz ultra wide at 21:9 felts really good to me. I chose this because of the size, 144 hertz, 21:9 and good reviews from fellow tech youtubers and for the price as well the brand gigabyte, its an all around great deal for what you get. The ultrawide and curve feels really nice and refreshing. I got really used to it as I used it on some games. I am still getting used to the colors and adjusting as I go, but they are good enough in my eyes. Came with bad display cables as my screen would some weird flickers in the background that my eyes would catch, so I used my original DP cables I already had, and now gameplay and visuals feels more normal instead of all jerky and stuttery. Who would have thought bad DP would do that!
I noticed during the day, the top left corner had some slight material that is suppose to be underneath the display kinda showing, I really hope it doesnt affect the the screen negatively in the near future. The top right side is fine.

Absolutely incredible display for the price. It just sucks sometimes that the online content on NETFLIX and other streaming services does not support ratio on this. Once Youtube and other services catch up with that, it would be amazing to watch content on this. I game on this monitor and it's a treat. Stands tall on all the specs mentioned by the manufacturer.

I'm not a power user. I use it for gaming. The 3440x1440 resolution is mostly supported, and even some older games do too. It is really awesome to use and feels more immersive. I haven't used some of the features of the monitor as I couldn't be bothered to even learn what it's about. I haven't used tbe HDR but that may change soon. If you're upgrading from a decent 1080p, this is going to be a very big deal for you.

Oh my god this thing is so nice it really helped w my headaches and strain from using my previous 2 monitor setup where I’d have to look left and right all the time. Also the colors are very good and bright and refresh rate looks good. Also my unit came w no dead /stuck pixels and had very minimal backlight bleed probs my only complaint that the price was kinda high considering g the new asus 34 165hz is only 299

I got this monitor because it is 1440p, ultrawide, and 144Hz. It's a VA panel, so there is some slight ghosting when gaming, but nothing that ruins the experience for me. This monitor is 4 times as big as my laptop screen (15.6") and it really helps my productivity. I have noticed some backlight bleed on the top and bottom of the screen (Probably due to the curvature of the monitor), but it is not noticeable during use unless you have an all black screen. The options menu is controlled by a joy stick on the back of the monitor, and I prefer it to the buttons on the back of most gaming monitors. much easier to use, and more intuitive. Overall I like this monitor, and recommend it if you want an immersive gaming experience. Can't beat the $400 price tag. The stand is pretty good for an included stand, and is height and tilt adjustable. It does wiggle slightly when I type, but that's probably due more to my cheap desk than the monitor stand itself. I will update if the monitor ever breaks.

The monitor was delayed for a few days but I finally got the text today that it is ready for pickup. I use it for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and gaming. Well packaged and what can I say. It’s totally Awesome.
The colors are beautiful and crystal clear right out of the box. I did not have to adjust anything! I have a Gigabyte GeForce 1080 GPU with a I7 7700k processor. Runs grate and looks great.
Very happy with this purchase and the price in unbeatable compare to a more expensive brand with lessor details.
Thanks Best Buy.

I sidegraded to the G34WQC from an LG 34UM95 and so far my experience has been great. The immersion from the 144Hz refresh rate and 1500R curved panel alone is worth the price, which happens to be very reasonable compared with other 3440x1440 144Hz monitors currently. The adjustment on the stand is great and allows for almost any viewing angle you could need out of an ultrawide. Although it's made by a "gaming" company, this monitor doesn't appear so at all. The design is very clean and simple. My panel came with zero dead/stuck pixels and has very minimal backlight bleed. I will admit that it has a fair amount of ghosting/smearing. Even when moving the mouse, there's a noticeable yellow/brown effect. After adjusting the colors and settings, and just using the monitor for a few days, I don't feel it's much of an issue. I tend to use LightBulb to reduce the blue tint most of the time anyway, so this helps with the ghosting. While I do video editing and feel confident enough to use this monitor for what I do, I would not recommend it for anyone doing professional color grading. You're better off with a higher quality IPS panel. For anyone looking to get into a budget-friendly 1440p 144Hz ultrawide who doesn't need the top-of-the-line panel quality, this thing is perfect. I definitely recommend it!

Great monitor with good built in color profiles as well. There is slight light bleed but only if there's a black screen.
Completely immerses you in whatever you are doing. Overall quality feels great and there is almost no bezel. The stand allows for height and tilt adjustment but takes up too much space so I have it wall mounted.
The only minor complaint is the power button where you have to hold it for a few seconds to turn the monitor off. I would have preferred a more direct action button.
For the price it really does offer a lot with excellent technical specs as well.

Best monitor from what I normally use which is 1080p 24 inch. And coming from that to a 34 inch 2k with 144hz monitor is soooooo satisfying to play any games on 2k ultra wide. I would definitely recommend this product to others as the money says it all coming at $400. Viewing angles are good Colors are good the Legs for the monitor isn’t really long compared to my other monitor but its i wider. Seems the same to me though.
Thank you Best Buy for good condition packaging and delivery.
• Something i wanted to point out is when u get this monitor your gonna have a HDMI cable and a DP. DONT DO THE MISTAKE I DID AND PUT BOTH; OR ELSE YOUR SCREEN WILL LOOK WEIRD. You gotta put only 1 and obviously you should put the DP.

The monitor comes packed solid so I wouldn't worry too much about shipping damage unless it's really thrown around. If you plan on using it without the stand you have to attach the stand so you can remove the styrofoam behind the monitor. I have this monitor dual-mounted with another ultrawide which is also a 34". The curve makes it looks much bigger even side by side and gives you a greater feeling of being inside whatever you are doing. Build quality is solid but I didn't use the stand so I'm not sure how solid it is. Mine came first try without any dead pixels or issues. The monitor is solid if you want a 34" ultrawide that's 1440p and 144hz. The colors look good and the monitor doesn't have any flickering issues. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for these specs.
If something changes I will edit my review to reflect it but atm a solid buy.

No flickering. It's a CURVED VA panel. Some lightbleed during completely black screen is expected and depending on your monitor height you may notice it or not.
Gigabyte deserves this review for releasing an affordable ultrawide 144hz with useful features. Coming from a 27" 144hz 2560x1440.
I am more blown away by this upgrade than from a 60hz to 144hz because of the curve and massive display area.
Absolutely impressed and 100% recommend.
Thank you Best Buy for having it in stock and fast shipment.
