At first, this seems like a great value. Excellent construction quality in a handsome package, with good specs and upgradable RAM and SSD. However, over the course of purchasing three of these, the panel quality was terrible on everyone. They all show excessive yellowing in the corners and blacklight bleed through, especially when displaying a black screen. If you can manage to see past this, it's a nice laptop, but the low quality screen and screen defects are too much for me to accept.

The cons....Takes a while for bios to boot. Sometimes bios boot takes at most 2 minutes. Loading time on windows 11 took me 30.2 seconds. The pros.... two nvme slots two ram slots. 16 cores decent 4050.

The GIGABYTE - AORUS 15.6" FHD Gaming Laptop - Intel i5-13500H - 8Gb computer boasts a superior gaming experience specifically with true gamers in mind. The backlighting bring a next-level look to this laptop, while the screen uses the FHD technology to bring you quality graphics for your next match. I found this laptop to be lacking outside of the aesthetics. Out of the box, the computer was slow, the fans kick into overdrive, and the unit got warm... all before ever getting to a game - this was just for setting up the computer through the normal windows setup process. After the laptop finally arrived to the home screen, it took nearly 2 hours for the laptop to accept a wireless/Bluetooth mouse, basically a standard for the industry. After downloading numbers files and apps, it finally worked, even though the mouse is plug-n-play on every other computer I own, including my work laptop. The lighting effects are good, but the screen and hinges feel weak and I would be concerned of any drop, even in a padded laptop case. Overall, I was not impressed with this product, despite hoping for the opposite! PROS - Quality screen and visuals - Nice backlighting - Good for lower-end gaming without needing to double the cost for higher-end CONS - Questionable performance - Concerns over screen and hinges - Old-skool brick weight - both laptop and charger
