    I purchased this RTX 5080 expecting a premium experience, but it didn't even last a year before failing. When I sent it in for a standard RMA, Gigabyte denied the claim. Usage: Standard gaming/workstation use in a well-ventilated case. The Issue: Card suffered a total failure (black screen/no POST) within the first year. The RMA Experience: Absolute nightmare. Gigabyte claimed the PCB was "bent" and used that as a loophole to void the entire warranty. The card was never mishandled; any slight deviation is likely due to the massive heatsink weight over time. Gigabyte effectively used a minor cosmetic/structural technicality to avoid fixing a functional electronic failure. It’s disappointing that a manufacturer won't stand behind their hardware, especially when "PCB sag" is a known issue with cards this heavy. If you’re buying through Best Buy, I highly recommend going with a different brand that actually honors their warranty. Save your money and your sanity.

    Cooling on par with Astral 5080 with $150 less than astral. 5 year warranty is also nice to have.

    I'm knocking a star for the overpricing of these cards. It's fantastic and probably one of the best overclocking cards for the 5080 series.

    Got this as a open box and got it for $1200 plus tax. This is the best deal I have gotten on the new 50 series GPUs. Check out my gaming channel if you want to see it perform XxREDxZON3xX If you can wait or keep checking at your local best buy, find one open box. This one I got was never opened as the seals were never broken. Reseller and scalpers are finally losing! Lets go!
