If you like magnificent acting, history, cinematography and let me say it again acting. This cast is made for this film like a tailored suit. The emotions you get from these performances are nothing short of amazing. It is a roller coaster ride. The writing takes you all through an historical setting and time in the Cival War that is loaded with increditable emotions and factual realism. You will be captured from the minute the movie starts to the end. If you do not find yourself emotionally choked up at the beginning of the last sequence to the final end of the movie than I must have missed something. I am not one who believes in giving the story away but I can say Denzel Washington' s protrayal and execution of character growth within the setting of this movie, of his part, is nothing short of brilliant. It is one of the greatest assemble cast work I have seen, I could not notice one actor who stole from the assemble. Rent it, watch it and I will give you odds it will be in your collection if you do collect within no time.

This was another movie I had been looking for for years. Found this one in the $9.99 Savestation, so I couldn't pass it up. I loved Matthew Broderick's work in this movie. This is a great Civil War movie about a white commander of black soldiers. I think the most poignant scene of the movie is how one white soldier in particular comes to respect his African-American counterpart during battle. If you appreciate historical movies, look no further than this movie.

This is the best Civil War movie except for maybe Gone With the Wind. Wonderfully acted and the cinematography is first rate. It's hard to screw up a movie with Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, and Matthew Broderick, but even the support actors are fantastic in this.

This film is a wonderful tribute to the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment, the first Civil War unit to be exclusively comprised of Black soldiers. Performances across the board are excellent and the special features are educational and entertaining. The video and audio quality is top rate. I highly recommend Glory as a worthwhile purchase

'Glory' is possibly one of the best war films ever made. While many people argue the film's historical accuracy, it still does a superb job of captivating the audience. This 2-disc set offers a good presentaion of the film in both Anamorphic widescreen 1:85:1 and full-screen options, and is loaded with many bonus goodies fans will enjoy.

This flick is one of the greatest flicks of all time. A classic forever, the casting of the freeman was superb.

Sony 4K release is a definite upgrade from the previous blu-ray and well worth the price. No special 4K Television required to appreciate it's improvements in video quality. There are no extras or special features on this blu-ray as all of the disc is used to give the best video possible.

Glory has always been one of my favorite Civil War movies. I could not pass up buying it in Blu-ray. I felt the picture was much better than my DVD copy I used to own.

Very well done movie with a great notable cast. not entirely accurate, but overall a great representation. PQ could have been somewhat better.

Greatness...With two of the best actors in this movie (Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington), you couldn't expect nothing but greatness.

An important story about the first African-American regiment of the Civil War. Great cast of actors! Densely Washington and Morgan Freeman are superb!
