    Amazing game with worthy of being called a Triple - A title. Great graphics, story, cinematography, and gameplay. I did not play the prior 3 God of Wars but did look up some summaries before playing. Didn't feel like playing them was required but looking up the summary does help with getting invested into the main character.

    Innovative, beautiful, gripping, and immersive. A huge step forward for the series by re-writing almost all of the series conventions except for the really good ones. Only gripe is there isn’t more of it (can get through the story and all of the collectibles in about 40 hours). Especially recommend playing this with a horn full of mead.

    I have played all the previous GOW's in the series and had high expectations for the new one after all the hype. I was no disappointed. Even though this new entry is very much different from the previous ones, I was satisfied. I would recommend this game for old and new fans. You need to know some of the story but you can get summaries in YouTube.
