It's a really good game, the graphics look so good even on a non-Pro model PlayStation 4 and I don't think it is even necessary to have played the previous games before jumping right into this one (though if you have the chance I do recommend playing the previous games because they all are great).

Good story great controls a must for any ps4 owner

After playing Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, we've been looking for something "comparable." The graphics in God of War are just as impressive and the storyline? This can definitely work.

Great story, satisfying combat, amazing storytelling

Growing up playing the original God of War (and the sequels) I loved the Greek Mythology story of Kratos and how he came to be. Even though this game switches to Norse Mythology, Kratos does not miss a beat! The addition of his son make it for a great dynamic that I can play for hours at a time!

While I have yet to finish this game, the story-line has me pretty well hooked! The game-play is also quite fluid, and the combat feels well refined. Players of the previous God of War games may find the combat to be a little slower, and a little less mayhem, but I still thoroughly enjoy the combat in this entry to the series!
