My favorite franchise from play station, did not disappoint. It’s definitely not your old hack and slash God of War game, the new mechanics were frustrating at first, but with all great things, it takes time. 4k tv graphics, extraordinary, definitely a game of the year candidate.

Just buy it. I have never really liked the God of War series. Saw the reviews and gave in. I have to say this is a complete departure from the earlier games and plays just amazingly well. The game play is a solid 10/10 and is hands down the best game I have played this year.

Fantastic game, period. A nice step in a different direction from the previous GOW games, more adventure, but still plenty of action. Gorgeous looking, and just challenging enough to keep you engaged, and willing to keep playing.

I’m about halfway through the game and so far it’s amazing, definitely the best in the series. It’s also visually breathtaking, really makes me want to go buy a 4K TV. The combat is tight, almost fighting game-esque unlike the hack ‘n slash of previous titles. Really solid game.

This game is so well developed that I am glad I own a PS4 just for this game alone. Good storyline and great action. This is a must play for any gamer. Only problem I came across was that the game's combat control are a bit difficult to master. Once you get a hang of it, its on!

Every gamer should play this. It’s such a fantastic continuation of the franchise and I look forward to the next ones! It’s a great story, amazing artistry, and not overloaded with side quests. Plus there’s a lot of humor in the dialogue. Just get used to hearin “BOY!”

Amazing, one of my favorite games from last gen. I purchased this on release day digitally for $60 and picked it up physically again during a sale. Game was worth the $60. If you enjoyed the originals definitely pick this up.

Nice good game great story fun to play. One of the best action rag but not as good as Witcher 3.

I completed every last side quest/collectible/etc in this game. It was that fun. A worthy successor to God of War 3. The story, mythology and level of detail matched the high production values. A must buy for any PS4 owner to have in their collection. Wish it never ended.

This was on my kid's wish list and are very happy I got it for them. I was very happy because it was on sale and I had reward certificates to use. There is nothing not to like about getting a highly rated PS4 game for $3.

This game is literally for everyone and not only that if you haven't played this then you are missing out on major gaming history. Its good beyond words

Being a fan of the original games I was hesitant to see where they would take the series in the reboot but its great. They have truly made an amazing game in every sense possible and I hope they continue this new version of God of war.

What else can be said? This game is an absolute masterpiece and represents the best of the craft. Incredible storytelling, addictive and satisfying gameplay, an immersive open world. God of War is a game that just doesn't check all the boxes, it delivers on them in full force.

I could go into this huge long review about this game but I will keep it nice and simple for you... God of War is hands down, the best single player experience I have ever had gaming in my 37 years on this planet!!! You should buy a ps4 or ps4 pro just for this game! Have Fun!

Except maybe Nier Automata. Maybe. Otherwise, perhaps the greatest video game I've ever played - and I grew up with PS1, had PS2 in college and Xbox 360 last generation. After this, every game will be anticlimactic. I'll probably just retire my controller and call it a day.

I had never really been into the previous God of War games, but this is a really awesome game that's different in many good ways. Story is great and pulls you along and there's just a massive amount of content alongside the story, you'll be sinking some time into this one.

if you are expecting a classic God of War this is not the game for you. They has change a lot of the combat system and exploration but the game is awesome. Personally i enjoy this new style more than the old one and got the game on sale for $25 so it was a great deal

This entry in the classic PlayStation series really takes it to the next level as far as gameplay, graphics, sound etc. More sophisticated than the previous games but still unmistakeably a continuation of the series. Awesome game!

I'm not too much of a gamer but my husband bought this today that it came out and has not really been able to put it down. We have a friend that's in the hospital and we took him his PlayStation 4 and bought this game for him so he could play it as well and he loves it too!

The storyline is excellent but the controls are hard to get used to. Open world gameplay is great and I love the twist at the end.
