I love all the games from this franchise, and this is one of my favorites! You can't beat the attention to detail in the storylines, detailed graphics, and immersive environments. Love it!

I had been wanting this game for a long time and decided to finally pick it up when I was at Best Buy. It’s seriously one of the best games I’ve played in a long time. This is one of the later games in the franchise but you don’t need to play the others to play this one.

Im not a ps4 fan cause i have a xbox but some of my friends have ps and xbox so i got this game and let me tell u its amazing good graphics gameplay is good fighting is off the chain one of the best ps4 game that came out this i have put my xbox down jus to keep playing this

This is a great reboot of the original God of War series and also makes a perfect entry point into the series for those who've never played the originals. God of War stands out as one of the best games this year and is a great reason to pick up a PS4 if you haven't already.

Definitely a game of the year candidate for me. The franchise is reinvigorated with this release and the future looks bright for Kratos. Plenty of hours of game time and adventure to be had. Saw a few complaints about combat but it is smarter and better than it's ever been.

God of War is easily one of the best reasons to ever play a game. It truly is a fun, amazing, cinematic masterpiece. Even if you weren't a fan of the original trilogy, this game is such a vast departure in all the best ways. If you own a PS4, stop reading and buy this game.

I love the God of War franchise. Their games are great in my opinion. This one does not disappoint either. I was worried that the different story line and game play would make this game not live up to my expectations, but those doubts went away as soon as I put the game in!

By now everyone knows this is the pivotal moment that ps4 stamped itself as victorious with this and other exclusives. Proves single player games are not dead and if anything multiplayer only games should stop as replay value stops once servers die.... to only cup holders

God of War is an excellent game that takes the series in an wonderful new direction. Though it changes many aspects of the series' gameplay, the combat still retains much of the feel of the old games. My only complaint is that the loot system detracts from the experience.

This game is widely praised for its graphics, storytelling, emotional depth, and gameplay. There is a good reason for that. It's one of the best games of the year, and I don't think many would doubt that. It's more than your typical "have a map, go to dot" game.

I have played all the other God of War games and this one is the best. I'm late to the party on this, but with the Black Friday price I couldn't pass it up any longer. It's worth every penny of the $20 dollars it costs now, the story is amazing.

The Last of Us on Grecian steroids but competing in a Norse weight-lifting tournament. One of the best games of this console generation. It's not for everyone, so watch some clips on YouTube (duh). But if you like action games, you'll probably like this.

Everything about this game is so perfect to me. The music, environment, the story, the relationship development between the main characters, the implementation of norse mythology, everything is so great. i highly recommend this game to anyone thats into story driven games.

Definitely a must have for any PlayStation player. Even if you have never played God of War before, you can still enjoy this game. Wasn't sure of it when I started but after the first battle, I was hooked.

They took God of War in a new direction and succeeded in doing so. graphics are amazing and game play is smooth and fund I got hooked I will say that and the Valkyries are no joke that is all I will say Also you will get to experience old school parenting at its best

Way more complicated than previous God of War games - so much different it is not really the same game. Aim assist is limited and there are many timed puzzles which are frustratingly difficult if you don’t regularly play console game. Put this same game on a pc and I’d breeze through it on a hard setting. Maps are confusing and not really much help - need to figure out where that treasure map leads or the favor goes next? Good luck with that - not on the map. But other than requiring great twitch control of the analog controller the gameplay is good, and the changes they made to the game work well.

This is one fantasic game and reason why this game will be Game of the Year. The characters are amazing, the story telling is so fluid. The skill upgrade page may be a bit overwhelming at first, but you'll get used to it. Playing as the son is very minimal.

Outstanding new take on the God of War franchise. With the new God of War Ragnorok coming out soon, make sure you complete this first to be up on the story so far.

Disappointed dad simulator 2018 is an amazing tale of a father and son traveling to honor his late mother. Through the entire game you can genuinely feel kratos disappointment with his sons utter incompetence. Makes you really feel what it's like to be disappointed dad.
