Kratos may be older, but still feels like the Kratos from the former games. Santa Monica studios has brought something new and still kept many elements that made God of War such a fun and classic game. I would love to see this win or even become a contender for GOTY.

The 'violence for the sake of violence' aspect of GoW has been removed and in it's place is a much more interesting narrative about a Dad growing closer to a son he hardly knows. Highly recommended game, has much more in common with the Witcher than with God of War.

I really enjoy the GoW games from PS2 era to current. I never played all the way through GoW2 or GoW3 and currently playing GoW3. My youngest son thought I would like this version and got it as a gift. He seems to really like just as much as I have on GoW2 and 3.

This game reinvents the god of war series with amazing visuals and cinematic gameplay and intriguing puzzles to solve. Highly regarded as one of the best games ever. I suggest fans and new gamers to this series check it out. Worth every minute and dollar spent.

The game's tale of fatherhood in the face of adversity is excellently written and tactfully handled. Kratos faces his past and reconciles his past behavior with the responsibilities of fatherhood. The combat is satisfying and visceral. The graphics are incredible.

God of War developers never fail and this new game is another masterpiece in the GOW library. Love the new open world feature and the game pays enough homage to its predecessors. If you're a fan of the franchise, then add this to your collection.

This is a really good game. I was lucky to find it new at Best Buy. Everyone else was selling it used.

The title it’s self should let you know that this is one awesome video game! They did make a slight change by adding his son which you also get to play. The makers of this video game should pat themselves on the back every day because this game is so epic!

If not the best, but Spider-man gives it a run for it's money. This is a way longer than expect action-filled adventure that is fun and challenging, beautiful and awesome to look at, with deep, but fluid gameplay. Well recommended. Best game of the series.

If you can get the Playstation hits version for $10 as I did the other day then this game is a no brainer. It is by no means the most amazing game of all time but is a solid representation of the genre and you can expect to get about 20 solid hours of entertainment. I don't know about you, but $.50 an hour is not a bad price! If you get really into it and want to unlock everything you could put 40+ hours into it but you would need to grind out some parts. All together I would recommend this game at this price over and over.

I've been a fan of this franchise since the first game. I last played GOW 3, and took some time away from gaming. This was one of the two reasons I purchased the PS4 Pro. If you liked the previous games, then this one will bring a smile to your face.

This was an amazing game, it came out as a sale for 20 bucks, which was usually a $40-30 dollar game. I think if you wanna go ahead and experience a game that has a good storymode this would be the game. There's alot of deep connotations and lore as well and exceeds the other old God of War games. Off the bat though, one given con is that it's not the usual God of War difficulty. I think that the player should choose a difficulty from the start and commit to it through out the story.

God Of War was such an amazing experience! Especially since I hadn’t played a God Of War before but always heard about it. Made me interested in Norse mythology and had me playing God Of War 1, 2, & 3 after finishing this game.

I got this for my boyfriend for our anniversary and he loved it to death, played it constantly and finished it pretty quickly considering he spent all his free time on it during a break but had no issues replaying it over and over

Great PS4 game. Graphics are nice. Good combat. Story is really engaging. Recommended.

If you’re looking for a game with a good story along with some great action and exploration this game is exactly that great game can’t wait for the other ones

Kratos' new beginning is loaded with action and is easily one of the best games of this generation. I can't stop thinking about its world and characters. I had so much fun exploring it and its combat.

I'm only a short way in, but this game is almost perfect to me. I'm getting too old but can't resist wanting to game. I also was never that great with RPG's, always had trouble how to spend those points on first, and what order. But game is EXCELLENT. A must buy

first game i finished on ps4... i enjoyed every moment and gameplay is smooth running at 60fps with my ps4 pro... the main story is kind of short and some side quest are not really related to any of the main story... but it is an excellent game

This is the best God of War game in all the series. It has tons of great action and a great story. Plus, the length of the game makes it an even greater value. I've spend over 30 hours in the game and I still have plenty of places to explore and gear to upgrade.
