Simply put - this is one of the best games that I have ever played. The storyline, the gameplay, the graphics - it all comes together beautifully to tell a magnificent story that will not be forgotten. Easily in my top 3 games of all time.

Oldie but goodie series. A must play. Lots of action & spectacular graphics. Also a shout out to the music & sound production crew. Just like in the movies & TV, the music score & sound add the dramatic flare to our playing experience.

It's still April but this game is a really strong contender for Game of The Year. If you have a PS4 and you're looking for an awesome game, pick this one up. I won't say anything else because it might spoil wonderful things about the game.

This game is nothing like previous God of war games. The biggest improvement is the camera = no more horrible semi-fixed camera. The game now has a normal over the shoulder camera. The combat has also been redesigned. The frenetic button mashing of the old games is gone. Combat now feels like it has weight to it. The level design is also much improved -- it feels very much inspired by dark souls level design. Also the main characters are much more nuanced and interesting than in past games.

One of the best PlayStation games ever... different gameplay from old GOW but very can hold its own as a stand alone or continuence...do yourself a favor and buy this game. Gameply is 20-40 hrs depending on dedication, side missions, etc.

This game is right up there with Horizon Zero Dawn in terms of all around terrific game. The story, game play, graphics, quests, are all top notch. The quality of this game with a PS4 Pro and 4K HDR TV are incredible. Highly recommended.

Had to buy this again after leading to a friend who never gave it back (when am I gonna learn). Happy to buy it again so I can play it on NG+. Definitely worth purchasing to play again. Such a great game.

This game is so good. The storytelling, the visuals (especially on PS4 Pro), the mechanics, they are all incredible. I played five minutes of an old God of War and stopped because it wasn’t my cup of tea. But this game is so well-done

Having played the GoW series since the PS2, Kratos is a character that doesn't seem to disappoint! Although it's a bit more mainstream than its predecessors, the action is still top notch. Highly recommended!

You have to get this if you played others great God of war games. Highly recommended it! You play as Kratos and his son as you travel to wildest adventure with different creatures and great puzzle to keep you entertain. Go get it folks

I was worried about where they could go with the series after the last installment, but this was a great game. The open world play is amazing and the story is great - as they always are. Going through it again right now.

Enjoyable, good graphics, good story and use of system

Fantastic story and well thoughtout campaign. I played on my PS5 and had the updated graphics settings. One of the few titles sony cared to upgrade without cost.

I didn’t really play much of the previous GOW games but my gosh this one is unreal. The graphics, sound, and gameplay are flawless. The one-shot campaign truly feels cinematic. Can’t wait to continue to progress through this masterpiece.

Great game; definitely keeps you entertained even if the gameplay is relatively the same but they keep adding slight changes throughout that it makes it still enjoyable until the end.

I bought this on sale. One of if not the best games on PS4. If you manage to buy a PS5, you'll even get it for free from the PS Plus Collection. Highly recommended.

The difficulty is a little bit harder I. This compared to other god of war games but it matches the idea that Kratos is mortal. Beautiful game. Excellent lore. Extremely fun game play. Engaging side missions. Absolutely worth the money.

It’s a God of War game, if you’ve played the others then you already know the basics of this game, just add a more in depth story then before with some new weaponry and you’re there. Plenty of fun.

This was a title I was looking forward to trying for a while. Surpassed all of my expectations. If you’re a God of War fan, or someone who is curious about what made this franchise so amazing, you should pick this up today.

This game isn't like past GOW games, it's more of a "Dad and Lad" Adventure, with a more subdued Kratos. Graphics are outstanding, even on a regular PS4 (I have a launch day PS4) gameplay is fun, albeit a bit violent. Overall a must buy
