About 5 hours in right now but I am already hooked. The combat keeps evolving and every boss fight is fun. It can be a bit difficult in the beginning to learn the controls/combat but they quickly become second nature.

The PS4 library is vast and has some amazingly quality games. It's no small feat to be unanimously acclaimed as the best game in such library. This game delivers and it's one of the best gaming experiences out there.

Excellent game. The story is great, the gameplay is polished, and the characters are awesome. A must have for the PS4.

I've reached the point where few games can hold my attention. This game holds your attention. I play dark souls and playing this on 3rd difficulty setting is brutal and hard. Not as fair as souls, but close. A+ game.

All the God of war games in the main series are great to me but this one is the best of them all. I was a little late to the party on it. But better late than never.

This is by far, the greatest game to release on ps4. There has been so many changes made to this franchise for the better. This is no longer your regular hack and slash game. It is an action adventure rpg like game.

The only reason i have a ps4 is because of there great exclusives you cant buy for xbox and this one is a great example with its fluid brutal combat, great music and sound effects and lenghthy adventure.

Played the game at release and purchased again when it was a greatest hits. Ordered on a Thursday and Best Buy delivered it Friday, next day. Very convenient.

Having never played a God of War game previously, I was a little curious with all the great things I had heard. This is a fantastic game, from the music, gameplay, atmosphere, narrative and look, it hits every mark.

Get this for your Boy. Honestly it's one of the most gripping, cinematic stories I've played in years. Never attempt making this into a movie. Anime may be ok.

Wow!! Excellent game at an incredible price. Just get it. I put an incredibly fast 40-50 hours into it and would have spent more if I didn’t finish everything available.

Haven't beat it yet but the 4K/60fps patch was made available on the PS Plus collection, not worth buying the disc. The game is great though.

This is one of the best single player games you will find on the PlayStation4! It is quite lengthy around 30 hours, but I have not grown tired exploring and trying to find new upgrades and equipment. Buy this game!

Got this game for a great deal, and look forward to giving it as a gift on Christmas. I'm not a video game person myself, but have heard many great things about this game from its storyline to how it plays.

A truly fantastic and really fun revamp of a classic series. Adventuring as Kratos and his son through the Norse pantheon of God’s and mystical creatures and combo finishing your enemies couldn’t be more fun.

I liked God of War fine before this one. But, this game completely changed my perception of the franchise and affected me in a way few games have. An incredible experience that you do NOT want to miss.

The story in this was outstanding. I was surprised at how long the campaign was - when I thought I was nearing the end I was actually only about half way there. This is a going to be one of my contenders for GOTY!

Now this is how you revitalize a franchise. Not only is it one of the best looking console games ever, but it plays very smoothly as well. This is why I love Playstation, their first party games are second to none.

Whether you are new to God of War, or a seasoned player, this game has it all. Totally reinventing the gameplay yet keeping what makes the series compelling, this game is what next generation gameplay is all about.
