They’ve made changes to gameplay mechanics and they improve the game in many ways. I like having the choice of what gear you use and which ones you want to upgrade. Game also looks amazing!

Pros: Good game! Good story, good graphics, satisfying combat. Cons: Got it for free with my PlayStation 5 shortly after I purchased it.

God of war has always been a great game and purchasing this PS4 version was just as great. Hours of enjoyment awesome graphics and for Christmas only paid $9.99.

Although it starts off a bit slow and with nothing to truly fight with, it soon picks up speed and you're right in the heart of battle with some old weapons that are still really fun to use!

For me the best game of all time. YMMV, of course, but you will love the attention and care put in by the developers.

Not a fan of it, buy it because of the advertisement. Love the combating part and story. For me, if the controller is motion sensitive and aiming point is bigger, that would be perfect, LOL!

I bought this for my dad who’s not much of a gamer so I appreciate how it takes time to teach you the moves and gameplay instead of just throwing you into it.

Still the brutal violent game we loved. Amazing graphics, enthralling narrative, and fast combat make this game enjoyable. Some of the bosses were disappointing, but all in all great game.

This is hands down the best GOW that has been made. It's not mission drivin. It is very open world and the customizations are great. It is a must play. Definitely in the running for GOTY.

Im not a huge fan of this series even though I played through the first three main games. This one is on another level though. It also displaces Horizon as the best reason to get PS4 Pro.

They took God Of War to the next level with this installment the bond between father and son grew throughout the game and I didn't want it to end....I hope there is a sequel in the works

Never got into the older games of GOW as much as I did this one. Great story to watch unfold, even if you had to put it on easy like I did, just to see it unfold.

This game, in my opinion, is justification for anyone holding off on buying a PS4. Amazing graphics and serious improvements on the game play. This feels like the old god of war but better!

its GOW enough said, loved this game since the first version in ps 2. IF you love this game you will love even more the storyline after all the events that we have been through with Kratos.

Gow and open world are a marriage made in heaven. A mature kratos that is forced to grow up to help his kid grow up while still staying as violent as ever? Perfectly played!

Ok, I played every god of war game and this is by far the best game of them all... not just that but this is one of the best games of all time... I did not expect this game to be THIS good!

This is my 2nd time buying this one my disk was broken so i had to replace it. God of War is another great entry to the franchise and overall i am pleased with my purchase.

One of the best games ever made for the PlayStation! outstanding graphics and the game play is different from the other God Of Wars we were use playing, better played in 4K.
