A deeply moving experience that took me by surprise. I enjoyed the father son relationship and seeing how it developed over the course of the year. The ending left me wanting more.

Never played any of the GOW games but always heard of them. I have to say this game is amazing, specially to anybody that liked greek mythology

It’s a bit different than old GOW games due to the equipment upgrade system, but that’s not a bad thing. There’s a lot to do in the game, worth the price for the amount of content.

This is one of the best games to come out on the ps4. God of War is so different then what the last 3 God of Wars where. It has an amazing story, beautiful world.

Got this for a friend for Christmas so I could watch the gameplay. No surprise at it being gorgeous, but I also see why it has won game of the year thus far. The puzzles are complicated, but not so much so, and the combat is wicked especially with that axe. Barely played / watched the first, but if this is the way of reboots / continuations - by all means video games, please look to this as a prime example.

I’ve played every previous GoW game, including the PSP. This game is so much more than any of that. I love all the changes they’ve made it, it keeps it very interesting game

Gorgeous game, revamped combat, good writing. I'm only a few hours in and its one of the toughest games to put down. It is constantly leading you to the next thing. GOTY contender.

I’ve finished this time.....I’ve done every little Mission you can do. Earned every trophy. All I can say, this is the best greatest game in a very long time. Highly recommend it

Classic franchise that was well worth the wait. They should make all the GOW'S available on ps4 and ps5 so you can enjoy the whole series.

This game looks so good and the reviews are really really good but I'm kind of nervous to play just because i feel like i should save it for a time in my life i need to be happier

I love this series, but this game takes a different direction, completely. That's not a bad thing. However, a lot of the game play and narrative has gone to a different genre all together. For some reason the story, as great as it is, just isn't pulling me in like the previous titles. The whole game is beautiful and fun to play. I just feel like it's not a God Of War title. It's still a top notch game and I recommend it!

The graphics are amazing and fight scenes are great. The chain weapons appear later in the game which make it so much fun as that's the main weapon that started with God of War
