This is one of the greatest games ever... the story is great, the combat is great and the twist in the storyline was jaw dropping. This had so many side missions along with the main story and the puzzles in there had your mind thinking on how to get into the chest. This game is highly recommended

I love the was it looks on my tv I wish I had the ps4 pro to make it look better. The story is good and very different from the PS3. Nice game for those starting to play video games like me. Even after when your done with the game there is more to do.

The graphic, nostalgia, fighting. Can’t even describe how good they are. Not to mention the story in this game is really emotional at the same time Kratos is savage as he always is. This game can only be challenged by Red Dead 2. Both of them are so good that it’ll be hard to choose GOT.

God of War brings single player and story telling back to the forefront in a way that we haven't seen since The Last of Us. In open world games, I will usually find myself getting bored of the endless side quests, and inevitably start to skip them in order to progress the story. GoW keeps traversing this enourmous, beautiful, emersive world fun. From stories in the host, to the always changing scenary, there is always something to keep you exploring. The combat is fluid. Many hack and slash style games leave the player wanting more, or leave you feeling constantly open for attack. The upgrade system for weapons and skills ensures that you can always evolve your combat style to be better or different once you get the next ability. This is a must own. If you don't have a PS4, and you've been on the fence, this is the game to make the plunge. If you do have a PS4, what are you waiting for! God of War is easily the best title on the console, and quite possibly the best game of the current generation.

Absolutely mind blowing! The original games in the series were fantastic, but this is a much needed face lift for the series. The game is gorgeous, the fighting mechanics are raw and rewarding, the story is good, the interaction between Kratos and Atreus is great. Every PS4 owner needs this game.

This is the very first God of War game I have ever played, and I am blown away! The combat is very fluid and fun, the story is incredibly interesting, the acting is top notch, and the graphics are beautiful. The game continually surprised and impressed me. I highly recommend it for any PS4 owner!

God of War 4 is a video game that tells a amazing story about a father and son who go on a life changing journey together. You see the more human side of Kratos. The game lacks the huge boss battles you are use to but still have a great combat system look forward to part 5

Kratos returns in his biggest adventure yet. The series shifts from Greek mythology to the Norse side, bringing with it a change from linear levels to a semi-open world and more RPG elements than ever before. A powerful story and deep combat make this a must play for any gamer or PS4 owner.

I was skeptical when I first heard they were rebooting the God of War series. But, this game is truly compelling. The story is captivating, the game play is fresh and dynamic, and the animation is fantastic. I haven't even finished the story yet and I can already say I know it won't disappoint.

God of War series has a reputation as an overly violent hack n slash with minimal story. The new God of War almost totally does away with that. The story and characters are wonderful, the combat is more slow and tactical, and the world is gorgeous. If you own a PS4, God of War is a must buy

This is one of those games that sells consoles. The graphics are probably the best on any video game console. It has a great story, something unexpected a God Of War game, and a very tight gameplay. This is a game to look at for it’s beauty and to enjoy for his precision. A truly masterpiece.

Game was amazing. The story is great. Graphics are very good. The voice acting is good. The game is really fun. Gameplay is different than the original games but I think they did an amazing job with it. One of the best ps games ever.

This game is an awesome. Very fun, great visuals, storyline, and living the relationship between father and son. Great collection of weapon upgrades and fight styles to choose from. Atleast 35+ hours of gameplay. Once you are done, you can't wait for the next chapter to come out.

GoW reminds me a lot of Zelda ocarina of time. A game I spent hours on as a kid. There are not too many lengthy cut scenes and the game does a good job of guiding the player without hand holding. Enemies and encounters are different enough so it doesn’t ever feel like a grind.

Fast paced game with a great storyline. Father son relationship is the best part of the game

God of war is an incredible game. It is an interesting change in game play from all of the previous games. The story, gameplay, characters and music are pure art. As much as I'd like to see another one of these, I think this game could stand alone on it's own. Love this game!

Kratos and the boy embark on an awesome journey. Dads will love this one, hits different after having my own kids.

What negative is there to say? Story, great. Music, fantastic. Combat, friggin' good. Voice acting, absolutely good. Play this game. The best thing is if you're new to the god of war series, you really don't need to have played the previous titles.

God of War is a fun open world game that takes place in realm Norse. A well thought out game with amazing graphics and a great storyline. Kratos and his son Atreus fights to fulfill a deeply personal quest. The staff at Santa Monica Studio did an excellent job.
