This game has a very different story then other God Of War games, as well as very different gameplay. Overall it works and makes a very refreshing game with a lot of variety and proves single player games still have a very big place in the videogaming industry.

I was expecting a lot from this game (like everyone else) and it does not disappoint one bit ... the graphic, the story line, the gameplay, the fighting, the dialogue ... everything is flawless. If you’re going to get a game this summer make sure it’s god of war

2018 has definitely started well with this game. Visually, the game looks amazing. However, it can be a bit challenging at a higher difficulty. If you are playing for the story, then I would highly recommend playing at a lower difficulty. I can not stop playing.

Awesome game!! If i didnt know i would get a ps5 i would have kept this game! graphics are stunning and story makes you laugh,cry, and mad !! I enjoyed it and would pay 15 bucks and up for this game.

This game is by far the best game play and graphics experience I have had on a console. The story is phenomenal and is not a quick game to beat. I highly recommend this game to anyone that has a PS4 whether they have played any previous God games in the series!

This game is worth every penny I spent on it. Fantastic story line, fantastic characters, fantastic game play, fantastic graphics and best of all ZERO micro-transaction. Full game on disc and you will not be nickle and dime. My game of the year contender.

I did not play the previous titles in God of War, but the lack of background was not a detriment in enjoying the story of this game. It's mastercraft in storytelling and graphics and a show piece in what the current gen PS4 (played on PS4 Pro) can do.

This game met and exceeded all expectations. The game is absolutely breathtaking. Matched with a heartfelt engaging story and brutal engaging combat with a refreshing blend of RPG elements, God of War sets the bar high for future action adventure games. 10/10.

In short, this game is amazing. The story is very well written, and that includes the side mission content. Everything in the world of this game feels intentional and is realized in a great way. The combat feels very rewarding, while also supporting the story.

God of War keeps everything that made the past entries fun while adding everything is missing. For fans of action/adventure games, this one will not disappoint. The story, combat and exploration fuse together to make one of the finest games of this generation.

This soft reboot of God of War is still as epic as ever with new ways to approach combat, new mythologies to discover, and new ways to appreciate this franchise. This is truly a masterclass of gaming and well worth your time.

I love the god of war series and this game is no different. The story and combat is well done even with the new camera angle. Everything is so polished and beautiful to look at. I was hooked when this game first came out and you won’t regret buying it.

Only similarity from this PS4 game and previous releases of God of War is the main character likeness and the title. This is the best single player story I have played in years. Great difficulty options and being set within Norse mythology is great fun

Incredible game. I've only played about five hours so far, but have been enjoying everything about this. The combat is smooth and intuitive. Graphics are great. Story is incredible. I don't like paying $60 for single player only games, but this was worth it.

Just finished this game, and man, what a great story! It definitely picks up after the first quarter of the game, so don't get too discouraged by the first hour or so. Gameplay wise, all I can really say is you truely feel like a badass throughout.

I vividly remember playing the earlier GoW games and just being taken in by the story and world that was built; it was amazing to have those feelings all over again with this game. Combat is amazing and the story/characters/world are exceptional.

I wasn't really sure if this was going to be a big difference compared to the other games but...WOAH! The graphics are beautiful and the story is functional and exciting. There are tons of blood and gore but that's to be expected. Get this game!

What can I say that dozens of reviews haven't already said. This game is hear from beginning to end. Engaging story that has Kratos grow up some, but also a ton of fun to play as the battle system is top notch. A must own for PS4 owners.

Thde story is amazing, you get much more in this game than the pthers. Previous GOWS you would run around and kill your way to the end. This is different; you now must adventure around and collect items, do side quests and level up kratos and atreus.The story is amazing and i almost shed a tear, graphics are nice and it gave me a lot to do. platinumed this game in 20 days! I give it 4.5 stars and not all 5 because i did not like the battle system and it wasnt too challenging of a puzzle game like it used to be. Id put this game in my top 3 of gows, with gow 1 and 2.
